I agree, the good thing about Pyeka is that you can influence her.Always love Pyeka content. It will be interesting how the normal slave/fanatic cultist slave paths differ in the end. For now I prefer the normal slave path, MC hopefully can have a little bit of influence over Pyeka and her whims compared to the cultist route.
I love you, I love you, I love you, my god, I opened this page like 10 times today just for the Spanish patch to come out... god bless you.Spanish Patch V0.3.71

Ive been wondering about this since the first time I did her route. The one thing we know for sure is that more powerful giantesses have the ability to grow more than others, like the queen and princess. I'd imagine Pyeka lost power somehow at the time her empire fell. It might have even been the cause of her empire falling. This would fit with it being a Restoration ritual. What is the restoration ritual Pyeka doing going to do? Whats her intent and shes always going on about growing bigger
During the whole special I had a strong feeling that something is really wrong here, that in just a second an unexpected turn comes to smack player back to reality, but meh, it was just a dream. Works as a christmass special though. The Wintermoon special was both beautiful and sad.
Wait when was it mentioned the more powerful the giantess the bigger they can grow? Is the max size relating to magic power? I thought it was said that all the main giantesses could get to about the same size and if not then wouldn't the queen be able to get way bigger due to her insane magic power? I remember something about the other main giantesses could get to the same size as the queen but maybe I'm remembering wrongIve been wondering about this since the first time I did her route. I can only assume that by consuming souls from specific bloodlines, combined with some cult mages performing some magic, she'll likely recover lost power, and with it what she considered her full size. We don't know too much about magic, but we do know Pyeka gains power in some small amount by consuming souls, so the ritual is almost certainly just a special way of doing it. (This does raise the question of why she's eating the people as we collect them, but I guess it's fine as long as the souls are in her).
She misses her home. And likely assumes having enough power would make her able to get the land back and refound it.
Long story short, snake wife wants to be big again and maybe that would make her able to reclaim and refound her empire in the desert.
Yes, Queen can grow much bigger, as well as her daughter, the Princess. And growth size does seem to correlate with magical power of the giantess.Wait when was it mentioned the more powerful the giantess the bigger they can grow? Is the max size relating to magic power? Or this was Maryen's father's lingering spirit. Creating that warm illusion for protagonist, based on his own memories. We know he still lingers in that temple. So, what might've influenced this Wintermoon dream? My understanding is dreams are because a person's brain is processing life events. Is there possibly some sort of connection that might make this something more than a one off subcon moment?
I said a page back about mc thinking this 'dream' was nostalgic. Why would mc feel that way if he never actually experienced it (...that we know of, ala amnesia...)? Usually nostalgia is for something personally experienced in the past.
I would think one reason is mc was shown these things, especially since he was paying respects at a very notable place (the memorial). Or... maybe he does have some ties to what happened, given the whole amnesia stuff.
Or I could be overreaching and overtheorizing.
But it would definitely be a great plot point if this is the case.
The queen IS way bigger. Like, her whole thing is that she keeps herself that way as a show of power and authority. It's part of the reason MC is pantshittingly afraid of her on those first encounters.Wait when was it mentioned the more powerful the giantess the bigger they can grow? No idea what deeper meaning there could be, considering what Kendra did to her family.Yeah. That's kinda what I was getting at. I could see it having a deeper meaning and reason to be shown that, considering current affairs of Kiesiema.
No idea what deeper meaning there could be, considering what Kendra did to her family.
I only felt sadness at the end of it. Like our protagonist.
Their mother was a villain according to Kendra. Who obviously can't be trusted after everything she did and keeps doing, like destroying entire towns just to annoy Maryen.Apparently, their mom was a psycho genocidal maniac who wanted to wipe out all undead on earth and turn them to dust. She’s also the one who ordered Vai'kliss' assassination.
Kendra acts like a monster, and her sister has to wear a magic muzzle to keep her from sexually assaulting Éliette or doing Nyxmay games with protag. We’re clearly missing some big context here, and I have no idea where we’re supposed to get it
Actually the Queen and the Princess can't grow much bigger than the guardians. They can just keep that size longer.Yes, Queen can grow much bigger, as well as her daughter, the Princess. And growth size does seem to correlate with magical power of the giantess.
For example: Margarita, who has no magic powers, can't grow at all.

"And undead are actually unnatural abominations that interfere with souls passing onto afterlife. "Their mother was a villain according to Kendra. Who obviously can't be trusted after everything she did and keeps doing, like destroying entire towns just to annoy Maryen.
And you don't know what Vai'klis did when she was alive, she probably was big part of the reason why Kendra started visiting Homaspernia and getting corrupted.
And undead are actually unnatural abominations that interfere with souls passing onto afterlife. Like Makla who keeps souls chained to the corpses after they die, as a form of torture.
If even innocent cinnamon roll like Eliette participated in purification crusades, there's a really good reason to combat undead menace.
First, spoiler that chunk of ingame dialogue. It happens pretty far into Maryen route, so counts as a spoiler."And undead are actually unnatural abominations that interfere with souls passing onto afterlife. "

Lumping zombies and intellectually normal undead into the same category is wrong . Her mother failed to recognize, or chose to ignore, the distinction.
The situation is more nuanced.
You are making assumptions based on a flawed perspective presented by a celestial being who is still adapting to life on Earth. She claims they are abominations, but that doesn't make it an absolute truth simply because Eliette and M's mother believe so. The game demonstrates that the undead can, and often do, live relatively normal lives. We lack sufficient evidence to categorically condemn all forms of necromancy. Eliette is clearly depicted as flawed in her beliefs, though always well-intentioned. In fact, the first thing Maryen says to her after "usurping" her title is, "You want those purification armies back, right?",a line that hints at how those armies might seem righteous to some but fanatical to others.First, spoiler that chunk of ingame dialogue. It happens pretty far into Maryen route, so counts as a spoiler.
Second, there's no distinction. All undead we saw so far had their consciousness. Even poor skeletons near Makla's home. They all are affront to nature and life itself.
Third, you are the one who fails to make a distinction. In case of Makla's victims, it'll be an act of mercy to release their souls from captivity. There's also ghosts who can't pass onto the afterlife and stay trapped in the world of living, we've seen one in halloween episode.
Also, the line about millions of undead being killed just tells us how dire the necromancy situation is on the continent. We just learned that Homaspernia keeps rising uncountable hordes of undead for one reason or another.
Sidenote: If it was a D&D module, "Purification Crusades" would have been a huge campaign about saving the world from an entire nation of necromancers and demons.
