Maybe this goddess could be a Yandere. Or maybe she might actually have a personal connection to the MC beyond being her pet, maybe she is his wife, mother or daughter. Or maybe her characterization could be inspired by Greek mythology and the MC's entire predicament could be a concequences of his hubris.There are so many mentions of MC being called a 'hero' or 'hero wannabe' that it can't be a coincidence.
