You could spend around $4000 for 10 roles of the highest tiers and around 10 commissions depending what type it is ranging from a small icon to multple characters fully colored/shaded. Or you could buy a high end PC that's close to what NASA uses which will last at least 6 years with you.

Everybody got some spare money but not everyone will spend them wisely, his choice.

He's a whale in the sense that he's a big spender, but he's not getting scammed. He's using the site exactly as it's meant to be used, being a patron to artists. He's getting art and writing for an incredibly niche interest, GTS content with a long form story, made by the only two guys who actually pull it off . I wasn't being disparaging, I just really hope it's budgeted with some common sense.
