I'd strongly disagree with that since I played the gentle giantesses' routes first but I never sensed that. Like some of them were completely content with not even thinking of hurting tinies, even when they were getting kinky. (Like Margie, Elliette, Madea). In Elliette's case you could say that she's just heavenly energy given consciousness, but what about the rest.I believe that every giantess, to one degree or another, has a latent urge to destroy and dominate tiny creatures, including in rather cruel ways. It's a kind of embedded program, a kind of script that activates. All biological beings are essentially a set of programs and scripts that are embedded in their genetic code for specific purposes. Humans are no exception; humans are deluded into believing they are above all this, some kind of exception, supremely aware and possessing free will.
By the way, to get to know Maryen better — I mean, the more real, frank, and sincere — you need to encourage her "dark side" and create a sense of comfort in relationship with MC
Also in Maryen's defense, I think when she shows tendencies to crush tinies, it's born from a mix of stress and repressed sexuality(idk I'm not a psychologist). Just imagine for a second that you have to tiptoe around ant colonies constantly and making sure you don't hurt even a single one by mistake. And a lot of those ants yell profanities at you and act ungrateful when you try to help them. Now just imagine how good it would feel to just stomp down some of them. All the stress gone! (Which is actually pretty different from Kendra or Nyx since those girls actively look for tinies to crush.) Also, she's stopped herself from hurting tinies all her life while being egged on by her sister to do the opposite. We know she thinks a lot about her sister, so a part of her definitely wonders what it's like from her perspective, a part that Maryen always suppresses. So these 2 factors (Her stressful life mixed with curiosity of the unthinkable) are driving factors of her desire to crush tinies. Also I'm pretty sure her mother's death affected her so deeply that she became some kind of monk and never even thought about sex or anything. Like she's become some kind of voluntary celibate. And the desire to hurt tinies and her suppressed sexuality all form a messy volcano that erupts when the eyepatch comes off.
But again, like I said, I don't think the desire to crush tinies is something giantesses have embedded in them, much more something that they get addicted to over time. (Regina and Sheina get a bit turned on too when crushing large structures, but again, I saw that as something they always stop themselves from doing and finally doing it felt euphoric)
Lmk ur thoughts. You're hilarious and bring up some pretty good points.

In no particular order, I'd probably say Nyxmay (obviously), Eliette, Orphelith, Croixelle, and Mayren.
Something about Nyxmay just... hits the spot for me, in every single way. Her personality, backstory, intimate scenes, and story line are super interesting and I am invested in them heavily. I am not a (particularly) huge fan of the other sadists of the cast, but her flavor is just right for me and I am very glad the creators aren't afraid to shy away from blood. I try not to indulge myself in snuffy/bloody content too much—even if I enjoy it—as I fear it isn't good for my mind (and soul haha), but her whole path is gripping enough that I allow myself indulge and enjoy it. When playing through it I felt like I was actually and actively progressing. While you currently don't learn as much about the MC as you do during the Vai path, I feel like it is made up for in how it balances both self-exploration and exploration of Nyxmay herself.
Eliette's path also has a great story line, and isn't super sexually indecent (which I like as it is both less tempting and more story-driven). Most importantly, seeing how her good and evil story lines diverge has been a pleasure, and the fact that she has overarching plans and goals is exciting, especially when a lot of the paths feel aimless or needlessly bloated (Sorry Madea and Duila (still love Madea though)).
Orphelith and Croixelle are both more story focused, putting sexual acts on the backburner. Because of this, they also feel less bloated, and the character interactions between the MC and the giantess don't feel so forced or predestined. Additionally, they are lore-heavy paths which I also love. Guess I am just an innocent, yearning, slow-burning romance enjoyer at heart
*I say, hiding the shamefully lecherous paragraph I wrote about Nyxmay*As much as I love the Lycalis-Viridice War characters, the storyline feels a bit bloated and padded. I have no issues with my attention span, yet I have found myself speed reading through dialogue on some of those paths to make it through certain sections :/ Maybe that is simply because I played most other routes beforehand though, and knew the bulk of what was to come?

As much as I love the Lycalis-Viridice War characters, the storyline feels a bit bloated and padded. I really liked your descriptions of ur top 5 btw. I didn't get too far in Nyxmay's route due to my natural aversion to all that. But I think your description of Croixelle/Orphelith hit the spot. I was wondering why I like Orphie's route so much, and it's not just her personality or looks but also the fact that her route is a lot less bloated so far.

I am happy to hear that! I was worried maybe I was alone in that sentiment. Also I don't blame you for not completing her route, I hardly ever see people that liked it as much as I did. Of course its fun to see and complete all the various routes, but at the end of the day we play for fun and our own enjoyment, no use torturing yourself over something you just don't enjoy for completion's sake.
Also I couldn't agree more, the character interactions in the Croixelle/Orphelith routes (especially Orphelith) just feel far more meaningful and weighty than that of most other characters. It doesn't merely feel like dialogue for dialogue's sake (yet), and I hope it stays that way (which is how I felt about Nyxmay's path as well). All of that considered, it is shocking that the two paths with the least clearly defined goals/objectives (Orphelith specifically) are among the most tight story-wise thus far. I look forward to seeing what direction they take, as right now they are still pretty open book.
Interesting. In which option can i start playing it?.
The only dual routes i am playing right now are Margarita's (Wholesome and Yandere) and Eliette's (Wholesome and 'Saviour' Angel)
