It's a genre of anime and manga, and quite popular, by the way. Judging by the number of them released each year. But in my opinion, most of them are just run-of-the-mill junk, nothing special. They mostly look alike; I've never seen a single one with giantesses. Which baffles me :cautious:

I do hate isekais with a passion though, boring self insert slop that kills the appeal of otherwise compelling fantasy settings. Don't know how to feel about this VN going that route, as it kills the mystery's appeal of the protag's background for me.

I wasn't planning on doing this anytime soon, but I decided to start Maryen's route from the very beginning. Now I'm going to go all out, showing maximum loyalty to Maryen's latent desires, giving her support and confidence that MC won't abandon or betray her, no matter what. I want Maryen to be able to free herself with MC's help and become as happy as possible. I want Maryen to be able to trust MC as much as possible. I'm curious to see what comes of it :sneaky::coffee:

So I decided to recreate the scene you mentioned, and yes, I did it. We'll see what happens in the future ;)
Besides, I thought that this would increase the likelihood that Maryen would actually step on the MC, since that's what he wanted so much. Especially me :PogChamp::ROFLMAO:

When I started all over again, I noticed some things that hadn't previously prompted further reflection.
For example, this:

What was he dancing there? Tectonic? :KEK:

Then he definitely arrived there from the world in which we are located or a very similar one
Thats an interesting idea but then who is that yandereish and sadistic women who puts us on a cage at the start and all the other humanoids inside other cages that appears to be frozen. Are they the other MC's? Does MC gets a full memory reset and sent right back to the current realm every time he dies or something like that? also those flashbacks only happens when a powerful giantess like Orphelit or someone with subpar subliminal abilities such as Nyxmay (she literally can devour nightmares and shift/bend other souls memories when she wants.) attempts to enter or read MC's memories so maybe his body is just the vessel and all those humanoid inside the other cages are spare vessels waiting for their turn to be used and filled with a soul , MC's soul. Afterall that mysterious women who only appears on flashbacks says that there is no way MC could forget for "after all she done to his soul and MC is her toy". So maybe MC is bound by the soul and effects or amnesia is getting depleted when he gets in touch with immense magical power. I would like to remind Nyxmay said there is some kind of seal that is preventing her from reaching MC's memories maybe that mysterious women put that "seal". And maybe that is why she choosed a purebred for when they try to break the seal the immense magic would also kill the vessel and protect the memories. still though its kinda annoying that we only got two or three interactions- that does not even last 5 minutes if we collect them alltogether- about this topic after 4(ish) years of development.

I mean there is an obvious solution to the puzzle if we use isekai logic:

1. Mystery giantess summons purebreds from other worlds for whatever reason as they're valuable (they can be sold for a hefty price as sex slaves, are basically a fertility drug for giantesses...)
2. explains why no one cares or even knows about the protagonist in the continent
3. The giantess locks away their memory so they're extra servile/easy to train

The only problem with that theory is, based on what we've heard from the mystery giantess, it seems like she was obsessive over the MC specifically for some reason so doesn't seem like she willingly sold him or gave him away.

This is what I was talking about... If it was just because of his amnesia, MC should be finding everything new and wonderful. Like a newborn "Oh wow, what is that flying? Oh, it's called a bird?" He should be in awe of everything. But no, he's only surprised by giantesses even after seeing them the entire time he was awake. This implies that wherever he was pre-amnesia was giant-free.
Literally at the very beginning of the epilogue, MC's thoughts are quite ambiguous. I mean, you might think this definitely confirms the hypothesis that he came here from another world, but it could equally well be an illustration of how a person reacts to the fact that he can't remember a damn thing about himself, nothing but his name.

But there are also other interesting moments, especially in Maryen's route, when MC decides not to leave her alone, when she's left in a special room without an eye patch. Specifically, when he loses consciousness and begins to hear a female voice ...
I also don't remember whether he has introductory nightmares in other routes, or if he only has them when he spends the night in the Heavenly Kingdom

At the very least, I assume MC must have passed through a portal, or someone pulled him through one, before ending up in that building in the neutral territories. He's in a state of exhaustion similar to how he feels when he goes through portals with Sheina.

She is just toying or maybe avoiding something if you ask to me. Her character -even if we don't have much other than a few lines- she reminds of the Saeko from "Giantess Dating Simulator" (it doesn't got any H-scenes if anyone is wondering) Where

Controversial take: Homasphermia kingdom should be wiped out. Like full-on genocide. The laws are shitty and unjust, and the people are worse. The horrible people there would deserve it and the good ones won't have to suffer any longer. And please don't get emotional and comment on real world problems, this is a hypothetical argument for a fictional place where giantesses wear necklaces of tinies and slave trade is legal and encouraged.

I'm not saying this should happen immediately, but Homashpermia is definitely the most problematic kingdom that needs to be ended someday (maybe near the end of the story)

The only way this happens is if Eliette decides ze healing is not as rewarding as ze hurting and absorbs the souls/mana of every Keiseima resident trapped in the falling islands to become Inquisitor-Goddess of Purity.

I'd strongly disagree with that since I played the gentle giantesses' routes first but I never sensed that. Like some of them were completely content with not even thinking of hurting tinies, even when they were getting kinky. (Like Margie, Elliette, Madea). In Elliette's case you could say that she's just heavenly energy given consciousness, but what about the rest.

Also in Maryen's defense, I think when she shows tendencies to crush tinies, it's born from a mix of stress and repressed sexuality(idk I'm not a psychologist). Just imagine for a second that you have to tiptoe around ant colonies constantly and making sure you don't hurt even a single one by mistake. And a lot of those ants yell profanities at you and act ungrateful when you try to help them. Now just imagine how good it would feel to just stomp down some of them. All the stress gone! (Which is actually pretty different from Kendra or Nyx since those girls actively look for tinies to crush.) Also, she's stopped herself from hurting tinies all her life while being egged on by her sister to do the opposite. We know she thinks a lot about her sister, so a part of her definitely wonders what it's like from her perspective, a part that Maryen always suppresses. So these 2 factors (Her stressful life mixed with curiosity of the unthinkable) are driving factors of her desire to crush tinies. Also I'm pretty sure her mother's death affected her so deeply that she became some kind of monk and never even thought about sex or anything. Like she's become some kind of voluntary celibate. And the desire to hurt tinies and her suppressed sexuality all form a messy volcano that erupts when the eyepatch comes off.

But again, like I said, I don't think the desire to crush tinies is something giantesses have embedded in them, much more something that they get addicted to over time. (Regina and Sheina get a bit turned on too when crushing large structures, but again, I saw that as something they always stop themselves from doing and finally doing it felt euphoric)

Lmk ur thoughts. You're hilarious and bring up some pretty good points.
I'd simply recommend that you and the other guys who also responded to my comment simply wait and see what happens in the routes ahead.
I'm not an arrogant person, and I admit I could be wrong and there may be gaps in my knowledge. Of course. I'm not a scientist.
And I also don't think what you and those other guys said about this is just nonsense.

By the way, regarding Sheina, for fun, you can load into the section where you're given the choice to signal her where you are or try to escape yourself. Escape yourself. And then see how the scene changes when you and Sheina arrive at that building with the slavers, but without patrolling guards or anyone else. No witnesses. Just MC, Sheina, and a bunch of scum :sneaky::coffee:

Have you seen the maid twins' fun yet? No? Well, you'll see it later :sneaky:

And yes, besides me, there are other guys here who not only know how to think, but also express their thoughts in an engaging way through text, and who find the desire and time to do so. That makes me happy.
This is especially valuable at the end of 2025, especially here, in this very thread about a visual novel with giantesses.

Something about Nyxmay just... hits the spot for me, in every single way. Her personality, backstory, intimate scenes, and story line are super interesting and I am invested in them heavily. I am not a (particularly) huge fan of the other sadists of the cast, but her flavor is just right for me and I am very glad the creators aren't afraid to shy away from blood. I try not to indulge myself in snuffy/bloody content too much—even if I enjoy it—as I fear it isn't good for my mind (and soul haha), but her whole path is gripping enough that I allow myself indulge and enjoy it. When playing through it I felt like I was actually and actively progressing. While you currently don't learn as much about the MC as you do during the Vai path, I feel like it is made up for in how it balances both self-exploration and exploration of Nyxmay herself.
I don't know what's on the developer Discord available to Patreons, whether sponsors are demanding that those three routes be made more vanilla or not. I hope these amazing routes won't be ruined. Even now, they don't reach their full potential; there are some flaws. I think the developers are holding back on the potential for more intense sadism and violence in these routes. Probably for some reason.
Besides, there was only one scene where a giantess killed a tiny woman. It was in Naya's route. But without visualization, it happened quickly. Giantesses don't usually dominate, torture, or even kill tiny women. Only men. Is violence against women banned in Spain, even in fiction?

If Yakuu, Kendra or Nyxmay starts wanting romantic candlelit dates, starts talking about destiny (her other half for a relationship), wants to get married, have lots of kids, and stops completely dominating the MC, will start kissing MC before bed every night and wishing them sweet dreams, will stop matching the Homaspernia vibe, then we can assume there's something seriously wrong with the route :WaitWhat: :KEK:
This is coming from someone for whom Yakuu, Nyxmay, and Kendra's routes exist. Only three routes out of 18 (at the moment) aren't many for those who don't like them, and not enough for me and others like me. But what can we do? We'll make do with what we have, the main thing is that selfish vanilla fans don't ruin the fun :sneaky::coffee:

Nevertheless, even if we imagine that MC really is a traveler to another world, the developers managed to create an interesting, multifaceted world that provokes reflection. They definitely succeeded in infusing mystery.
Perhaps MC managed to escape that giantess, or someone helped him. He passed through the portal and...somehow ended up in that settlement. Interestingly, after Kendra leaves, the villagers return and find Maryen and MC there, but no one recognizes him and perceives him more as an outsider. That's how it seemed to me.

Treating the MC more gentle will definitely happen in Kendras "nice route" i mean it is kinda happening already

Homaspernian laws are not unjust, they are strict, but it's not like the kungdom turns any tiny into a slave. It's overwhelmingly criminals and psychopaths that lose all their rights like we see in the colosseum scene. We don't actually know what the average homaspernian tiny native citizen is like. If anything it's neutral territories that should be turned into a proper country instead of being a lawless jungle and a safe haven for criminals.

It looks like a combination of middle age feudalism and Cold War era corrupt military junta if you ask to me. Also the way I see it Homasparnia is locked in a paradox since every leader that would come in power would view the vast majority of the people as spineless worms that only worship power and act as blood thirsty pests if they are not leashed and kept in check with fear. And on the other hand since the people are living and witnessing all these corruptness the lacking and unreasonable justice system as well as how you'd get no punishment if you know the "right people" and be literally tortured to death or turned into a slave something as small as stealing because you are starving makes the people act like bunch of blood thirsty pests that are no longer capable of respect and only could kept tame by fear.

Its either some type of movement will fix the people and the leader turns tamer over the time or a leader who can think out of the box and break the cycle can fix Homasparnia. But I doubt those girls on the party Pyeka went to would ever allow it afterall to maintain your order you should be in good terms with all those "mistresses" and If you are not they would make sure you'd slip or die in a "accident" before you could rise. And I don't think they'd be happy about loosing all their free labor or privileges as being a giantess in Homasparnia.

But think guys no Homasparnia means no curvy and hot demonesses like Kendra or Nyxmay!! I think its a bad deal...

Dude, any place where an innocent person could be turned slave is not just by any means... The main guardian herself has a finger in that very nasty pot.

Not to mention it's now spreading like a disease and literally infecting people like one. There's no reason this place needs to exist, it contributes nothing.

I think a lot of the dominant giantesses are just man-hating as fuck...
