Firstly, I really enjoy the complete cave exploration in her route. Like I don't think we do it to that extent for any other giantess, like we go from her mouth to her bum and everything in between LOL don't judge. But that's not the MAIN reason.That's interesting. I also liked the characters that have explicit affection for the MC (Elliette, Mayren, Nyxmay (even if it's in a twisted way), etc...), but I was not super fond of Duila's route. I see the appeal in her innocence and sympathetic backstory, but some of her physical characteristics, in addition to her cognitive abilities (or lack thereof), made it difficult for me to really immerse myself and enjoy her story. I could also chalk it up to the fact that I played her route toward the back end of my playthrough, after I had already become invested in other characters and story lines.
Also, it is probably the fact that she is very innocent and cognitively slow that makes me a little uncomfortable/unimmersed and disconnected with her more sexual scenes/side. A romantic (and sexual) relationship with such a person just does not appeal to me personally. Did you perceive her mental faculties differently?

To be fair though, I purely made this account for this thread and game, so I had no reason not to... though I did have concerns at first about it seeming odd, since I was unacclimated with the site
I think what sells it for me is her lack of... all those emotional and mental developments. The reasons you found her unappealing is precisely why I love her (and that's absolutely fine, we are different individuals after all). Specifically, when she says things like "that made me feel warm in my chest", it kind of reminds me of how I used to be as a kid - very unaware and terrible at taking social cues, and I'd describe my feelings very literally. Most people I'd open up to were not very kind to me, because i was usually not aware of many things that shouldn't be shared. After all these years, I'm much better developed in those areas, but anytime I notice someone that reminds me of my naive self, I form a protective attachment to them.
And I'd argue it's kind of ingrained in a lot of guys to some extent to be super protective of inexperienced women. Idk. Either way I'm super fond of Diula and will have to update my top 5

That makes sense, i suppose its only natural to like the route that satisfies your tastes. Also I could NEVER judge you for that considering Nyxmay's route is my favorite LMAO!
Also that makes a lot of sense, thank you for explaining your perspective so candidly. I definitely understand why you like her a lot more, and I also understand being drawn to more inexperienced women from a protective standpoint. I don't think there is anything wrong (matter of fact I find it noble) with wanting to protect such innocence. Matter of fact, I feel the same way.
I think for me, a lot of the difficulty came with the sexual aspect of her route: she is very innocent and inexperienced, yet is also profoundly lecherous. I have always found it difficult to engage with content of that nature, like the other side of the same "innocence" coin, where I don't personally like seeing the two (innocence and lust) bleed into one another. That is part of the reason I do not like content that has themes of sexual corruption. Maybe it is because I am bit puritanical though.
(I know that seems contradictory to my enjoyment of Nyxmay's route, but I would almost argue that some of the opposite occurs—though that's a whole other discussion)
Thank you once again for your vulnerable explanation, it brought up some factors I hadn't considered. I hope your inner-child can find peace knowing that such pains made you stronger and kinder, as opposed to more broken and cruel—not all people are so righteous.
