Well, I don't really understand what he meant by saying that MC is the only one who can help Maryen get to the good side, she doesn't even have a bad side. Because looking at both her paths, she didn't do anything that would be considered evil in either of them. That's why I asked that question because I can't understand why he called one side good and the other bad when in both sides Maryen didn't do anything bad to be considered evil.

Hmm, I guess it would seem like that at first glance. Lemme try to break it down for you as best as I can (my memory's not the best)

SPOILERS

1. When you find out about Maryen's eyepatch and that scene with Elliette plays out, it's quite obvious Elliette didn't consent to it (even if she is enjoying it)... Maryen usually cares a lot about other people's comfort, but this one just enjoys dominating people (it's kinda hot)
2. In that scene with the demoness nun, depending on your choices, she confesses how the idea of the MC being at her mercy turns her on and how she's imagining crushing him. She also presses a too hard.
3. There's a scene where some random tiny on the street provokes her, and she steps on him and crushes his leg if MC doesn't stop her.
4. Conflict between Elliette and Maryen: depending on how MC influences the narrative, their argument can be super aggressive with lots of screaming, or it can be much calmer. (Idk if it's through Elliette or Maryen's route).


So basically, Maryen puts up a gentle persona, but she's not actually like that. She's split her personality into two halves and suppresses one of them. It's not that the side is "evil", no one in the game is if you think long enough about it, but being the Guardian of a major kingdom and also in the top 3 most powerful giantesses, her impulsive actions from her other side can cause so many problems. Both her sides respect and love the MC, so really, it is us keeping her on a leash. Again, all this is from memory, and I played her route a few months back, so I may not be 100% accurate

We call them her good and evil routes for the differences that become apparent in them as they progress.

Maryen is suppressing the darker sides of her personality; she fears what she could be. Who she could hurt, or worse.

But part of her wants to indulge on that. To be as free as her sister is, even if that freedom includes morally reprehensible acts (well, b the players' morality).

Depending on what the player chooses in her route, she either starts giving in to that side (the evil route) or starts to indulge in safe, measured ways (the good route).

This is correct unfortunately, they are never to be updated again. Who were your favs among the guest cast? For me it's definitely Harumunia, Roxanne, and Riys; A lot of people are put off by Haru's cliche catgirl talk, and I get it- even if I think it's kinda anime tourist thinking- but she does something that to this day no other giantess in the main story or even the guest routes does, which is have this condescending, slightly dehumanizing, but ultimately still moral/gentle persuasion towards tinies- even after learning the MC's name she still calls him just Tiny, she has you ride in her panties and then masturbates with you (something NO OTHER GIANTESS DOES) and man, the line "good toys know their place", man- but at the same time she's not a psychopath, she's not looking to hurt you, she does respect your life, that's the stuff I love right there. Treats you like a sex toy in the bedroom, but you know she's on the level because she treats you like a person outside it. For some I'm sure that ruins it, but I've never understood the appeal of my bones being turned to powder by some sadistic cunt. Different strokes.

Riys is probably agreed to be the best guest in the game by most, so much so they essentially created a legally distinct official version of her. Her guest story was pretty well put together, it had some lewdness, some self-improvement for the MC, and a story beyond that too, one that I'm disappointed will never see completion.
Roxanne is nice because giant goblins are peak, and she also had some pretty great lewd scenes- similarly to Haru, treated you like a toy when it was game time, but a person outside of it.

Still could hold out hope that the guest characters could show up in the main storyline as one offs, would be nice to see a few of them again and it's not like the creator has been shy about including one off characters in the main storyline. For me my favorite was the goblin.

Her ability to shrink MC could have been really interesting to dive into.

In that scene, that tiny didn't provoke Merien, he threatened MC and didn't listen to what Merien told him.

I don't think it's right to say that she's among the 3 strongest giantess, since she didn't particularly show off her strength, just like other giantess didn't, and there was no official ranking, so it can't be said that she's the third or second strongest giantess in their world.
but if it was officially stated that she is one of the three strongest giantess then please tell me where.

Well, her mother's magic was powerful enough to keep 3 islands afloat in the air, and she's expected to take on the task when she's ready. This level of magic is very powerful and impressive, pretty much unmatched, and a lot of people talk about this several times. Not to mention the entire continent knows not to fuck with the siblings Maryen and Kendra because of how powerful their mother was. It's not explicitly stated anywhere, but if I had to guess. And pretty sure there's some kind of fact chart somewhere which could confirm or refute this, but I never found it.

I don't know about top 3, but as a rule of thumb, the guardians are considered the strongest in their country with the first guardian being somewhat stronger than the second (Regina was the one who "tamed" Diula, Madea admits Naya is stronger...). So if we're ranking the ones that are on the continent currently it would be:

1. Orphelith
2. First guardians (Regina, Maryen, Yakuu, Naya) + Kendra (since she killed a former guardian aka her mom and many of her top soldiers when they were trying to "cleanse" Vai'Klis)
3. Second guardians

However that only applies for the current continent, there are outliers like Synanla who is kinda like the equivalent of Orphelith for the Sea Kingdoms and giantesses from other continents like Yakuu's original homeland (Reiko).

Maryen is already quite jealous and very much looks like a yandere. I've already seen it. I look forward to her future route updates and really hope the developers finally remember something important...

She is already in love with the MC and super possessive in her corrupt route don't think the mc could order her around like a slave, BUT she would probably do stuff for him if HER human asked her for it especially if it involves destruction (in her darker route) also yeah i think, Maryen is easily Top 3 most likely 2 in terms of power, also in the GG world height = power. And Mayren is the tallest character in GG, 26,26m (natural height) we don't know the Queens natural height tho.

Kendra can grow, meaning she's at least as strong as the second guard. She could even be stronger than Eliette (or on par with her), but slightly weaker than Maryen
I wouldn't even rule out the possibility that Kendra was offered the chance to become a guard for Homaspernia, but she declined due to a lack of interest. But it seemed to me that she's clearly wary of Yakuu and is acting extremely reserved with her, trying to be friendly. Meanwhile, Yakuu is extremely cold in response, seemingly disrespectful. Considering Yakuu's past as a shogun, I suppose killing someone sleeping would be against her warrior code. That makes sense
Kendra is a respected figure throughout Homaspernia, but not for Yakuu.

This is not a situation where a random person comes to you in your sleep and kills you. This is a situation where a daughter kills her mother while she was sleeping. There is a difference. In addition, there were other factors that helped Kendra do what she did. Here are some of them: 1. A special weapon that is powerful enough to neutralize magic and kill a giant. 2. The victim was sleeping, which already lowers the defense, although not to 0 percent. 3. The victim is sleeping in the same room as his beloved, which also lowers the victim's defense level. 4. The victim was in his own house, which lowers the victim's defense level. 5. The attacker was not some unknown person, he was the victim's daughter. Well, starting differently, the mother is unlikely to raise her defenses, feeling that her daughter came to them (regardless of the relationship between them) and does not know what she wants (for example, the mother could have thought that her daughter came to her father or to take something from their room). These are not all the factors, just the ones that are known.

As to ordering them around... I mean it wouldn't be the strangest quirk of the characters if one of them turns out having a strong M side and the idea of the tiny rare purebred human they have affection for being dominant with them. I doubt it'd be Maryen. We already have her "other side" havent been revealed.

I think it would be pretty damn hilarious if the grumpy oni Yakuu ended up having that side (the MC sparked it by cumming in her despite being threatened).... of course I doubt we'll get something fun like that since the people who like Yakuu are the hopelessly sub types. But I could see a wildcard with one of them with their "gentle" sides having that sort of surprise content. Hell, maybe Marg will get that to go with her yandere content? idk. But I think one of them having it would be interesting. Maybe it'll be saved for the sea kingdom when that starts rolling out in 2029.

I'm not saying that Kendra is weak, I understand that she is strong, I just don't like that her main strength indicator is that she killed her mother, who clearly had her defenses down and didn't expect this from Kendra. Well, to put it another way, I don't like that people measure her strength by looking at her achievement, which can't really be considered a proof of great strength.
