Gibberish instead of JP symbols

Before anyone says like: have JP locale on - I already did.

Yes, I tried to redownload file after that. Yes, I tried to download from different sites.
Nothing helped


Because of some images is also [?][?][?] game is basically unplayable.

You need to extract it with WinRAR or Bandizip set to Japanese coding. 7Zip will work most of the time I think somehow depending on how it was first archived, but sometimes you have to switch coding.

Yep, Bandizip worked just fine. Thats my first time 7zip failed me like that. Thanks, kind man

It's not just you, iv tried this as well. Haven't run into such problem ever. And been downloading games in past from even Vietnamese websites. I used winrar for this.
