I would prefer that approach too, but I started downloading yesterday and basically just looked at the photos on scutterhut and downloaded any girl I thought was hot, which ended up being like 90% of the girls. By the time I got to page 30 (out of 60), I had downloaded almost 220GB, and now I’m running out of space on my SSD. So, I think I’m probably going to have to choose between a big amount of girls or video quality/variety.

I bought a 5 TB drive that I use primarily to store my girlpacks (about half full), and another 5 TB drive that I store the original videos on. Neither is SSD, because those are so expensive, but I'll eventually get one when the price comes down.

I do have a 500 GB SSD that I put all of the other games from f95 on.

I think you'll find most of the super-small packs are some of the first created from when the game came out (2018 or 2019, I think) or come from performers who didn't stick around long enough to fill out many categories.

Sadly, the performers who were first created were among the most popular.

Long-retired performers are likely to have smaller packs because a lot of the content is 480p.

The smaller ones that I created are typically from when I was just learning to create packs or were intended to be "starter" packs that users could fill in clips later.

I wish the database was more sortable and had the number of clips included. I think the first iteration of the database had clip number but I'm not sure.

Anyway, I would encourage you to select performers you like, regardless of pack size.

I see, that makes sense. I went through about half of the pages on scutterhut using the 'latest added' sort. It seemed to me that smaller file sizes become more common the further you go. Also, after a certain point, you basically stop seeing any other file-sharing site besides Mega.

As for downloading the performers I prefer, I'm really grateful for scutterhut and f95. However, scutterhut doesn’t seem to have a search function, and the pictures available there are really helpful for this kind of search and f95 doesn't provide that in its search function.

Hmm, I have more space on my HDD, but I was worried the load time would be too long, so I didn't even try it. I don't really care about the game's startup time, but when you drag the girl to start the video, isn't there a big delay when using an HDD?

I'm not familiar with how the game is coded, maybe there is some background loading when you select the girls that are going to perform that day/night, and it loads their clips before the day starts. (or something like that

I use a 12TB external drive for all VCHH stuff and have never had an issue with load times. I typically have 450 girlpacks loaded so it takes a couple of minutes for the game to start up but once I start gameplay, you drop a girl in a slot and the video starts almost instantly. At most, it might be a second delay.

My thoughts on the matter is as such, the packs I create are usually between 500mb and 1gb. I do this for my own storage space as well as giving newer players options for girls without a greater download commitment. All clips are 480p or 720p and each folder has between 2 - 10 clips (unless I can not find footage). For the way I play these packs are "good enough", but that is going to vary for each person. I mean no disrespect to any of my fellow packmackers, but when I download a larger pack I find myself deleting a lot of clips that do not fit my tastes(I'm sure that others add clips to mine to add variety). That being said, choose what works for you.

In my experience, once VC or TUSC are loaded, there's not a delay due to the drive. There is always a bit of one when a video plays for the first time ever, but I've experienced that no matter which way that I load the game. The game itself does take a little bit to get going, but I have 400+ girlpacks.

After downloading a few different packs of Elsa Jean, I decided to make one that was specifically focused on the early part of her career before she got plastic surgery or filler or whatever that gave her a bad case of "resting duck face." Before that change, I considered her to be one of the prettiest faces in porn, so I kinda went overboard. This pack includes about 700 clips from about 30 scenes. No anal or titfuck (because she didn't do that back then) or footjob (because I didn't care to look for those scenes). Most other folders have over 20 clips. All webm, 480p.

I also have an archive of "cast-off" clips that I didn't use in the pack. They include clips that I got from other people's Elsa Jean packs and clips that I made of Elsa Jean for a different real-porn game. I mainly just uploaded this because I wanted to get it off my hard drive without totally deleting it, so it's not presented in any way that will seem organized or coherent to anyone else. There's a lot of exact or near-duplicates, with either clips in my pack or with other clips in this same collection. Yeah, it's really sad. I saw her in person when she was the feature dancer at a local strip club, and she had a legitimately nice personality. It's a shame she couldn't be satisfied with how hot she already was.

Also, for who want to make a girl pack...
You dont need to specifically place correct video/clip in the exact category. The game doesnt specify wich category it is, so it randoly pick one on the pack "themed" script/folder.
As exemple... the game wont say the difference between titjob, handjob, footjob...it will only say it's "foreplay". so if you have 3 clips of titjob, you can put 1 in handjob and 1 in footjob. game will show them all under same category anyway and it allow you to have all "category" of sex job for the model.
This is good for avoidig to have a girl that will refuse to do this or that... as long the clips are in the category, it'll work and nobody will notice anything anyway as it's not mentionned ingame.
So just put your videos/clips (after classed them) into Dance, finish, foreplay, group, oral, pose, or sex... whatever their content. (only keep careful on "finish" as it have category for group or solo).

Just an easy way to make girlpack that aren't more bad than regular (well categorised) ones.
