Java - Completed - Girls Hostel: Elisa in Trouble [v1.0.0a] [KahVegZul]

Simple and to the point yet nice premise. Excellent traced art work and fap material. Acceptable amounts of "randomly generated" variations of female roommates and the two side girls are nice. Truly wish there was more to do, but it does what it set forth to do.

This is one of the best (or the best) brothel sim game imo. The art style is high quality, realistic hand drawn (no cheap 3D models). The locations have lots of details. It has many (micro)-management options. You need to do jobs, service clients etc to earn money for upkeep of the house. Customers have various requests which can be done manually or automatically. Gain trust and build relations with the ladies in the house before they can be employed.

This game is not perfect though. I'd love more options per customer, kinks and more interaction with the ladies. It has a bit too much micromanagement to keep the house tidy and to pay the bills. The interface could be cleaner with higher resolution. Add an easy mode to decrease the grind, more options per client, and locations then it would be 10/10. For now I rate it 8/10.

When you get to them the porn images are hot, but there's a lot of grinding you have to do to get there, the interface kinda sucks, and the game has no plausible ending.

--It has elements that feel kinda rapey, but I think that's just b/c the Russian translation kinda sucks. You're supposed to want to start engaging in prostitution, it's just approached as if you're kinda forced into it, but like it anyway.
--Very limited sandbox elements

Yet another bundle of good art assets wrapped into a shit game.

You click some buttons and you may see porn. Some buttons are more reliable than the others. You also have to click on things to keep numbers up. And it's not a clicker. It pretends to be a management game.

Nearly zero thought has been put into the gameplay. First thing that came to mind and got implemented stayed.

It almost worked in earlier versions with less features, but as 1.0 it does not.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on v0.6.4...

The visuals of this erotic management game are primarily hand drawn, but done very well... The interface is simple enough to understand once you watch the tutorial information that explains the items on the UI... I would highly recommend playing this game in Fullscreen at first, only because some of the text that is shown in the tutorial screens appears over other text, when in windowed mode, making it somewhat hard to read at times...

The script is fairly basic, as this is in essence a brothel management game with a slight twist... There is definitely some broken English which is probably due to errors in translation/interpretation... There is a very basic plot to introduce the female protagonist, but no real story being told, yet... You get a few very short story type interactions, on occasion, with certain tenants, but unsure if they are random events or only appear under specific circumstances...

The game play revolves around trying to earn enough money to keep afloat... With the female protagonist having to pay back student loans as well as pay for hospital bills... Each week the minimum amount of money required goes up, and your job is to keep the current funds higher then the required amount, otherwise the game is over... Gaining money is done in several ways, either by doing normal work, getting paid for random events now and then, or by prostituting the protagonist and/or the tenants out... But that requires both trust by the tenants, as well as spending some time corrupting them into doing it in the first place... Each tenant pays rent as well, if they can... So in essence, you have to balance out rent as well... Getting higher paying tenants while also getting them to maybe make some more money for you through prostitution and/or helping with special random events... And not all tenants are easily corruptible or trusting... So again, you have a slight RP aspect to some tenants to contend with as well...

Most erotic scenes revolve around having sex with men in the streets, watching the protagonist taking a shower or masturbating, as well as watching short clips when the tenants are out having sex to make the protagonist money... But it is still a game in development, so some scenes are not always viewable with all the various women... You also have to contend with expenses such as dealing with illness, repairs to the hostel (aka brothel/hotel), protagonists mood-energy-hunger each game day, and several other things...

Overall, this is not a bad little erotic management game thus far... Sure it needs a bit more content to keep from getting too repetitive and stale, but it's still developing... Some of the text also needs to be improved to get arid of the broken English, but that will hopefully come with time... This game definitely shows potential and is rather unique, which is a plus... Will I revisit this one at some point? Perhaps once it's a lot closer to completion...

This game is very simple, yet fun and sexy. The character models are very good as well as the sex scenes. There is still a long way to go, imo, until there is some long standing substance. Its still very grindy and there needs to be alot more variety with the sex scenes. Like gangbangs, threesomes, seeing other tenants get fucked etc. However updates seem to be rolling out all the time. I would recommend!

I am giving it 4 stars for the effort. The animation is pretty good and Elisa is attractive. The story line has potential and it is obvious a lot of work has been put into the game. The controls all work well and it is clear how to manage your stats.

The writing and dialogue, however, are rough. The other review mentioned this too, but the corruption needs some work. She is real quick to drop into the corruption route. In some ways I am okay with this, but there needs to be some mental/emotional push back or at least the ability for the player to opt out.

Regardless, it is a really good start and the developer has put a ton of work into this, so I am hopeful they will continue to develop this title.

Updated after Completion: I should probably knock this down to three stars but I have to give the developer 4 for completing it. The game had a lot of potential, but they left a lot of it unexplored and feels like the developer became bored with it and then wrapped it up. It is now a pretty basic game that is easy to learn but not a lot to it. You should be able to play it beginning to end in just a couple hours.

Nice game with graphics similar to lust and power. It has progressed since last release and the prostitution system is much better. Now ot just needs more graphics and scenes. It could use some emphasis on the corruption. The protagonist doesn’t seem to have any doupts or dilemma.
