Did you run through the entire list of standard trouble shooting? 'Rare letters' error sounds like you are trying to run a japanese program in an english locale and should try locale emulator.

Game Has future if you add more details like rustic sex toys, multiplayer arena with the female goblins and the goblin king and the humans as well, plus more secrets. also i dont like the rpg level in any rpg, is obsolete, you see, we are not "walking stairs" with diferent levels, it should be only experience and to unlock skills ect we gotta sacrifice exp. that make more sense.

If you change the game name to simply Goblin Walker in Properties, it works. I assume it works with any other name. (What you're changing is the icon to launch the game.)

Game feels outdated, I remember playing this game like 8 yeras ago? And the animations are the same
Well, if you look at the first post, you'll notice that it was shared here about 7 years ago.
The developers had some plans for making a sequel, but it hasn't materialized yet.
You only gain one level per town run in normal mode. When you unlock genocide mode and have it active you can gain as many levels in a run as you can.
