I recently downloaded two Godot games cos, I mean, filth, obviously... The thing is, neither work. One at least gives me the error "Your graphic card doesn't support OpenGL" (which is weird cos I swear I used it in other games) but one, specifically DiBs: Tentacles in Spaaace just crashes. Like open, error message, TF2 Heavy saying Ded (not literally, obviously, but I really should make that my error noise...).
Is it a problem my end or is there something I'm missing, like a Godot player or something? Cos I've ran a number of games before, Gamemaker, RPGMaker, Renpy, Unity, Java, Flash, I've probably gone through all the porn game systems in the world, but these just refuse to run.
I feel like I've ran Godot before... Any help would be great!
Edit: Ooooookay, weird... Forcing it into compatibility mode with Windows Vista gets DiBs up but freezes it on a still image... I'm gonna keep digging my end, seems to work out for me recently, and if this thread disappears then I'm accidentally bumbled my way to an answer. Still, any help is helpful! (Turns out it does the same for Windows 7... I'm having to use compatibility mode for Win7... On something that refused to work... On Win7... This is shaping up to be a weird day.)
Edit 2: Okay, first, I realized I have played Godot but on Win10 at my husband's place, hence why the memory was vague. Second, the situation is solved. I'm a fucking idiot... The reason why it was frozen and unresponsive? Yeah, my laptop is old as shit. It turns out, unlike most games of that art style, this one chugs CPU. Ergo, while I can't explain why it only runs in compatibility mode, the frozen image was literally just cos my laptop is a ancient piece of crap... Sorry for the hassle. And sorry, admins, for clogging up the forum.
