VN - Ren'Py - Godson Remake [v0.2.1] [Cheesecake Studio]

I really like the models and animations, skin texture is really good. I like that you decisions matter a lot on what will happen, it's of the few games I have replay a lot just to see if I could get new scenes. The story isn't super interesting right now but will see how unfolds. I'm exited for the future of this project, I really hope it dosent get abandoned.

Thank you for the game Godson REMAKE, YOUR GAME IS VERY FUN AND WELL CREATED, It's that type of game where you don't feel time passing, there are days when I have to control myself, because I can only play at night and if I don't take care of myself on time I go until dawn because it's so much fun. Great and well-created graphics, the MILFs in the game are hot, because they are normal and don't follow the perfect and defined stereotype that most games have, and some of them I can't wait for the MC to get more and more, because he treats them with affection and love and of course a lot of sex and the MC also has that naughty side sometimes, right.

The story is well written and contains many things that leave you in doubt and fear (but as I know there will be no netorare in the main story and I trust your word, I face and lose the fear of seeing this which affects me a lot for my bad past that hurt me a lot and left me with these traumas that I still face today) and every time I play I want more and more, I can't wait for the next updates

It was cool to see the characters slowly become attached to the MC and not like in other games where they look at him and already want him without even knowing him.

Well, I just want to thank you for a game like this, I needed to play something like this, different and cool and that doesn't have netorare, because games like this are missing, I'll follow you because I know there are a lot of good things coming from this and other games you create .

The models are hot AF, especially Marnie.

However, without a walkthrough, it will be really challenging for players to find the "right choices" to see the sex scenes.

So you can't play on your own if you want to fap. You need to follow instructions. This is my biggest complaint.

Also, you are just thrown into the story with no buildup or explanations.

EDIT: I was misled into thinking that this game had been developed for three years, but it seems that it started in 2021, then was shut down for two years and restarted as a remake about six months ago. So, this justifies the time and the amount of content. For that, I'm raising my rating from 2 to 4 stars.

The animation-driven H-scenes and unique models make this game stand out, but the choppy narrative borders on schizophrenic. I'm having trouble rating this game despite its outstanding visuals.

The Good ()

• Good diversity of girls with different personalities and overall looks (but most have either the "curvy, busty milf" or "slim, busty teen" aesthetic)
• Attractive models / renders
• Lots of poses / variations for H-scenes

The Not-So-Good ()

• You're thrown right into the story without much background or explanation, and the plot progresses quickly without context
• Other reviewers have lauded the amount of choice, but I found certain choices (guided by the walkthrough) seemed to have weirdly accelerated the plot in ways I'm not sure were intended.
• If you don't love curvy (sometimes saggy) "real life" milf aesthetic, you may not love all the models.

This is a great-looking game that leans heavily into its animations. Not a ton of content currently, but I'm looking forward to following updates on this one.

This is some good shit right here, the animations and sounds are top quality. the amount of choices is one of the best thing in this game, some are meaningless but still cool to have your own choices of dialogue

No doubt this game's strongest point is the number of choices you make. The vast majority of them are meaningless, but I think literally 90% of MC's dialogues are left up to you, which I think is awesome.

It's too early in the story to tell if it's good or bad, but there's something there, we'll see I guess.

So far, my review seems positive, but the blatant AI writing is honestly awful. Too verbose, flowery prose and strange vocabulary that makes the characters feel like robots.

I saw the dev claiming this is not AI, but anyone who has used it will realise it. Words like tapestry, captivating, cacophony, intricate, "I must say," are all clear Chat-GPT-isms. I'm a writer myself and at first, I was excited about AI and used it a lot which is why I can recognise it at first glance, but you can tell you've improved as a writer when you read Chat-GPT prose and figure out why it sucks.

Aside from that, the sex scenes feel a little empty. Just a few animations with different camera angles and that's it.

I could forgive pretty much anything, but I'd rather read broken English than AI writing. At the very least, you could tell Chat-GPT to simply fix your grammar and clarity, do not let it use its own style.

Ill preface that I haven't played the original

Animation is stellar work, different angles, good mechanics
Scripting: Love the language uses, you can be as fair or foul as you choose. Especially like the ability to sya things during the action scenes
Story: Still early story wise, looks like itll be some kind of fantasy story line. I hope that the developer doesn't make you lock into relationships that blocks you out of future ones.

Great but short, I'll look forward tp this game with a few more updates

Godson Remake [v0.1.8 GOLD] [Cheesecake3D]

Hey! This is good shit!
I wasn't expecting much, but this is helluva nice surprise. Nice looking models, awesome animations, kinky story, lots of agency, okayish orthographics (nothing much, among of what I spotted), sympathetic characters with distinct "personalities". Everything is good, but as always there is some 'butt' in it. It is quite short, tho at least very cohesive. Knows its identity and delivers what it aims at. Which is good!

You really should check this one out. Oh, and don't forget too follow/support dev, if you liked it. (ofc, if your IRL situation lets you)

One of just two games that I'm looking forward to. Sure, the story is kind of hilarious but I think that's the whole point, I don't think it's supposed to be taken too serious if you consider some of the "interesting" choices you can go. So I can't really do -1 star for that imo

Probably one of the if not even THE most enjoyable models I've seen in a while, especially Marnie. Scenes and animations are also very enjoyable and even got some sounds.

Excited for more updates, definitely worth to check the game out.

I can't express my excitement for this game I'm IN LOVE with all the models in this game I like how the controls are in the game and also I like the phone and how it appears and how the texts come in that I would for sure put this game in my top 5 with how great the attention to details are and I hope the story is as good as everything else and even if not I won't be mad at all.

A totally unique game, the graphics are great, I dare say it surpasses all the sex games that have existed so far. The dialogue between the characters is good. It is true that the sex scenes are a bit rushed at the beginning. But that doesn't overshadow everything that's good about the game.

Amazing models and renders. Interesting story premise so far, very little/minimal typos, which is aways nice to see, as long as the game continues to add content, i can see it becoming a must play AVN for many.

An excellent game is awaiting us.
Still in the development stage but it promising a lot already. Models, stories, and environments fit perfectly with each other. Worth trying to anyone who likes VN.

This game is one of the hottest milf games I have ever played. The art is spectacular, the characters are interesting and the story and mystery leaves me wanting more. Also let's not forget the animation and sound, now I've always loved good animation but the fact that there is good sound is crazy to me cuz usually I play on mute cuz either there Is no sound or the sound is ass but this game takes into consideration that the goal for these games is to make the expirence enjoyable and man this game is just that enjoyable.

P.s I could lose the sound if it makes updates faster thats how bad I want more of this game.

Godson Remake 0.2.1

The game has changed since I last left a review, and my saves broke. This time, I did not bother to read the dialog. I just held the CTRL button. The game seems more exciting now because you can play as Good, Evil, or something in between. I like how the dialog choices clearly mark what is Good and what is Evil, without a walkthrough mod. But I am weirded out about how there are in betweens that don't give you any benefits because you can't use any powers and won't get as much story. To fix this, I think that there should only be three alignments. Good, Neutral, and Evil. And make it so that Neutral also has some benefits that Good and Evil don't have. Now back to the game. I was very disappointed when Marnie's sex scenes were replaced with sex scenes with MC and some ugly, younger, much fatter version of Marnie. What a waste. I play this game for the renders, and when you replace 95% of the good Marnie renders with lousy ones, how can I get excited for the game? Also, I remember in the 0.1.8 version there being a hot grandma looking female. But in 0.2.1, there is a different grandma looking female and she doesn't look as good. She looks fatter and less hot, although she looks meh okay I guess. I just don't understand the point in choose uglier and fatter models over ones that were significantly better. That's not what a game should aim to do. Also, I previously complained that there were blurry renders from the MC speed fucking. The developer still put that in teh game. I don't like it. I want to fap to clear renders not blurry ones. I don't know if the cum has improved or not because I just skimmed through the game. Previously, I rated the game four stars and now I am lowering it to three stars. And if we don't get any good renders with the hot versions of Marnie, etc. and are stuck with the fat bloated versions, I will later drop the rating to 2 stars.

Godson Remake 0.1.8

The cum scenes are annoying. Every time the MC is about to cum, it switches over to a black screen that you have to press Spacebar three or four times to get past. I don't like that. Then the cum does not look realistic. It looks gross. Like someone took some vanilla icing and slowly squeezed it back and forth making rope lines. I wish the cum looked better and more realistic. Like more translucent and some puddles of it instead of just rope strings. Also, in one scene, the MC is fucking Marnie really fast and it is blurry to demonstrate motion blur. But I wish that there were some clear stills of the same pose because they were some good poses. Maybe even some close ups of those poses would have been nice.

So about the game. Renders look great. Plot and dialog are nice. I really like Marnie's MILF body. The other girls don't interest me nearly as much, so I hope the developer will have a lot more Marnie sex scenes.

I honestly have no idea why this is rated so high. Pros is that the game provides something you don't see in majority of games; thick women with truly realistic bodies. The animations as well are pretty good too (excluding one ridiculous acrobat move). But that's the end of the pros. The list of cons are far longer. First, the story makes very little sense right now. Maybe it could get better but this game has been around for years, mostly abandoned until recent, so I have zero faith at this point. Second, the dialogue is far too wordy. You literally could skip through like 90% of the wording without consequence. Third, in a lot of VNs on here, women often just throw themselves at the MC as soon as they meet him, with little buildup. This VN leaves those other VNs in the dust with pretty much zero buildup. Finally, the game will end in, quite literally, the middle of a sex scene. As if the dev was jerking himself off while making the scene, blew his load and said, "Ok. I'm done." without bothering to finish the game version itself.

Now I typically give more credit to a lot of VNs than most people would, but this one I simply can't find any reason it has the current 4.5 stars that it has. If it wasn't for the thick women and the good anims, I would've given it a 1 star.

My man, doing a great job. Models are damn hot, Story is solid and engaging. But there are always room for improvements and i would like to mention few:
** Add some foreplay like french kiss,, grabbing and licking intimate parts. Girls having orgasm would be cherry on top. Make the intimate session a bit longer or else it will be just lame porn. Try to make it passionate. apart from that i have no suggestion as renders are very good too. Anyone reading my review, please rate this game and support in patreon. So far so good, the game has really nice looking models. It's got s tier milfs and what looks to be a solid group of love interests.

I never played the original and I don't have any personal experience with the dev on past games, but I hope they stick with this one because the render quality is top notch and I would hope this gets the time and care it deserves.

Decent music and sound choices, but the sex sounds could probably be improved a bit, not a huge deal. It's still early so we will see how it goes and I will update if necessary.

This has serious potential...I never played the original game, so I'm coming at this from an objective standpoint.
The art and the characters are beautiful...no recycled character designs here! The writing is smart and witty, it's obvious that someone with an excellent grasp of English is behind this. However, the story won't win any originality awards, it's your usual suspect in that regard.
I only saw one animated scene and it was smooth and quite professionally done, although the angles could have been improved.
I was disappointed when I reached the end of this version, I wanted more! This is a game I enjoyed immediately...some games take an hour or two to get started...I loved this from the start, the writing and the art were enough to draw me in and I was a fish on a hook by the end.
I think I'm in love with the girl pictured on the front page [Vanessa I think]...a dark haired goddess if ever I saw one.
I am excited for this one, the developer is obviously talented and I am seriously thinking about subscribing to this dev on Patreon.
The potential is real.
