Updated review for v0.15:
Latest update is unfortunately disappointing. There is only currently a ‘0.15’ and not even a full chapter yet of content out. There is basically 15 minutes of gameplay.

Latest update shows that the pace of development for this game will be quite slow, with about 200 hundred renders and some animations here or there every 2 months. So probably around 1200 renders. Game size is ridiculous considering how short the game is.

There’s nothing in the writing that makes it worth coming back to. The dialogue is still drawn out for no reason and does nothing with it. There are way too many dialogue choice with no point to them and just serves to add to the game’s playtime.

The dev has also locked away content under some bullshit ‘good’ tier which is just annoying as fuck.

What’s more is the disturbing trend of the dev abandoning 3 projects in the past, including this one. High risk of abandonment for this one too…

This is a remake but I’ll review it like a new game demo.

Renders look really good. It’s using Blender I think or some other shader and lighting, making it look different and way better than most new Daz based VNs.

The models look really hot, especially the MILFs.

There’s not much story here and the starting premise is the standard “parent dying and moving in with hotties”.

The animations are ok - if this is Blender, I expect them to be smoother and less choppy than what the game currently has.

Here’s my advice to the dev to consider:

1. File size is concerning given how short this is and some compression for images is needed.
2. The sex animations need to be improved and have dialogue during them. Also needs a cum shot scene to end them because they’re ending awkwardly right now.

From what I can see in the current story, there seems to be a lack of planning for this one and it’s unclear what the story elements will be in the future. Could also be partly why the dev has had a lot of cancelled games in the past.

The game’s description and Marnie’s verbose word salad just adds to the vagueness of the plot.

Seems like Marnie would take time to progress to fucking stage but then the game lets you fuck her on the first day.

It’s fine if the dev is just going for a porny VN with basic plot because alot of games are like that and it works for them. No need for complex minigames or epic saga stories. But if that’s the case, then I think a lot more fetishes, women are needed.

If dev doesn’t want to invest resources into improving animation fluidity then I think having more fetishes and women and sex situations would justify having static or choppy animations for most VN players.

Let's just say this has become my new favorite. The MILF Character design 10/10, animations 10/10 (both position and quality), though I wish there were more, each scene can't be just one or two 3-5sec looped animation, mix it up with more angle variations and put renders in-between to make the experience feel longer.

Review for Godson Remake [v0.1] [Cheesecake3D]

I left a review back on October 9th 2021 for the game which you can still find below in the spoiler. I left five stars and hoped that everything went well and here we are years later well after I forgot about the game because someone liked my review, only to find out the game was abandoned and now being remade. Happy as can be I downloaded the game and found myself playing something that, had it been its own game named something else I would’ve given it pretty much the same review as Godson (The original). Great design, great models, keep up the good work you know the drill. But since it proudly, and loudly, proclaims itself a remake and therefore the successor to the previous game, I feel that comparing it is not unfair. So, I re-downloaded Godson (The Original) just to make sure my memory is correct and here is my review.

Starting off with the positives, this is something that I have not seen yet from these games, whether for good or bad I don’t quite know, but the beginning to the game features the usual naming process that then allows you to use your full name or your initials for your name. Like I said, I don’t know how useful or needed this is but the fact that its something new and the developer was willing to try it out was novel enough or me to put it in this section. The sex scenes, while basic, would do the trick if I wanted to. A few more variations and angles would be nice but this is sufficient for now. Especially the final sex scene for this update, very, very nice. The model for Marnie, the head Milf of the game so far, is improved from the last game. Thicc-er and more aged, which makes sense given the title.

The other models give me nightmares.

Going into the game something I did notice but didn’t think much of it is how the models changed for the MC and Jennifer (The Daughter). Jennifer looks to be another model for Megan Fox, which was the model from the first game, but now she has another model that I don’t know is supposed to look like her or is inspired by her but either way she looks like one of the wax sculptures that just doesn’t match but you can tell it’s supposed to be someone you know. It’s not pleasing for me to stare at is what I’m saying. But in comparison to the MC, she is Aphrodite incarnate. I know this isn’t the most factual or provable statement because beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that jazz but I look at him and I don’t want this guy to be happy or within 500 yards of an elementary school.

The writing is pretty much the same standard quality you find anywhere else, the renders are standard for what you would find anywhere else nowadays, sandbox so far is gone which while I’m not an enemy of sandbox, the sandbox in the original game sucked so this is a good decision. Just overall like I said if this was its own standalone game I would be hooping and hollering but as a remake I just can’t help but feel “meh”. Fucking sucks man. The only reason I downgraded the review from a 5 star to a 2 and not a 1 is because it is not a shit game worthy of disdain but just a game that should’ve been another.

Lets start with the voice over character...magnificent. It actually sounded like a conversation a New Yorker would have. Models? Fantastic. Of course, seeing that this is the first version, I'm guessing that the game will be a slow burn...which is ok because the story so far is actually pretty good. Would love to see the models in animated scenes to see if the quality remains. Fingers crossed, lets hope for the best.

I don't like this game. I was hoping for an incest game, but even with the incest patch it did not feel like one at all. One thing that I did not like is that you are stuck with the default character names like Marnie, Jennifer, and Katie, and can't rename the females to something like "Mommy", "Older Sister", and "Baby Sister". But even if you could do that, another thing that I strongly disliked about this game is that none of the characters look like they are related to each other. Jennifer actually looks just like Megan Fox. It's annoying to play a game that isn't a parody and see models that look exactly like real life celebrities. It really takes away from the immersion. This is a sandbox style game with really ugly room navigation arrows. I thought that the sandbox style of this game was more pointless and annoying than necessary or desirable. You leave your room, you try clicking on a ton of different rooms before you realize that you need to talk Marnie in the kitchen, then you click on a ton more different rooms before you realize you need to talk to Katie in her bedroom, and so on. The renders are all boring. Marnie's face, facial expressions, and lackluster eyes actually irked me a little. Katie is almost a total cutie, because she's young and has a nice body, but her face is a bit dull too. There was a dry hump scene in the kitchen with Marnie that did absolutely nothing for me. It was about as sexually exciting as if the MC were to wipe off the kitchen counters with a rag. Even if I were to treat Godson as a roommate, landlord, or adopted family type of game, it was boring and not at all stimulating. Nothing about the characters, story, situations, or dialogue was interesting. The adjective that came to mind when trying out this game was "infantile".

I like this game it has a lot of hot sexy characters and the setting is very appealing to the eye the story is pretty cool and i would definitely want to know how the story would unfold. the character have a sense of the own and the friend characters are super fun to have in this game i cant wait for the sex scenes . the story is also dark and sad but I cant wait to turn it around and the Harem is definitely top quality . I kind of wish there was a Thick milf like his previous game that would be amazing i don't care if we dont get to bang her it would be nice to have a Thick milf presence in the game . all and all i would give this a 5 out of 5 for sure.

Godson visuals are amazing and the quality of the game developers work is great i played the game and i am enthralled with the backstory and the art of this game I would definitely keep this game on my radar to be one of the top Adult games . the characters are sexy and the friends of the main characters are funny as hell. the game feel visually and soundly alive due to the ambience and setting chose by the developer worthy of a 10/10 rating from me.

Very interesting story. Original design. Nice music. The renders are great too. I think it has a lot of potential. There are some annoyances like the navigation and the only voice actor being a male voice. But overall a very unique and promising game in my opinion.

When I first played this game I gave up after the crappy sandbox but earlier today i gave it another try and decided to leave a review.

the good:
- Renders are very good.
- facial expressions are a lot better than other games
- the story starts off great but then goes downhill. not so much however that it cant get better.
the bad
- the sandbox element sucks. i think that for all sandbox games some form of quest log is a must.
- i think showing boobies in the first 3 minutes of an integral character ruins the surprise.

overall bellow 4/10 but 2/5 seems too harsh so *3.

Overall a good first release.

music good (but it keeps on playing when going to other scenes so can be annoying)
Story : let me get back to you later but overal i enjoy most things also the jokes now and then

I lasted all of five minutes before I had to quit this one.

So you wake up with amnesia, hardly an original beginning but no matter, it can still be good. But then MC pretends like nothing is wrong like those around him are actually gonna buy that, but most of all, why? there's absolutely no reason to make that pretense unless he suspects foul play, which he has no reason to.

Next up we get thrown into yet another pointless and empty sandbox, with the added bonus of having really really shitty navigation. No thanks, hard pass for me.

Only positive thing I have on this one is that the models are passably nice, unfortunately that's just not enough to make me suffer through the rest.

Since I can't delete the review to add a new one or have one for Godson and one for the remake, this will be the review for the remake. And, to start with it, I must say I liked it way less than the original. First reason: the story. It's bad. It's not written poorly but by the end of 0.1 version you have no clear reason for why anything is happening, what it has to do with anything, or any reason to actually keep playing. The characters so far are uninteresting as well, quite crazy but in an extreme yet uninteresting way. And choices so far don't seem to matter much, even though there are plenty, but that is usual when it's just a first release.

Render quality is quite fine but I didn't like the character models much (but that is a matter of taste). Music is decent and there are a few sounds here and there that improve the experience.

So far, the game is looking poorly, we'll see if this improves or not over time.

v0.1

Would this be a complete game - or half a game - I would probably say something on the lines of "It's worth it for the ability to fuck this 'totally not your slutty sister' - Megan Fox looking bimbo".

However it's not a complete game. Nor is it really a game, but a demo. And as far as a demo goes, I have more fears than praise.

It's an empty sandbox world, with clicking on arrows to progress a completely linear story. The story is stupid AF - this coming from a dude who is into porn for the sake of porn. Give me incest, bestiality and much more insane shit. Give me magic rings and fairy god-mothers that give you a magic cock and a good fucking.

But here? it's bad. Your "totally not mom" sees you in bed, not breathing. Panicks. Goes and makes some tea or coffe, comes back to see you alive, hugs you, goes back to the tea. You have amnesia and your head hurts. Does she call an ambulance? Tell you to go see a doctor? Nop. Just ... finishes making tea or whatever.

I have - no hopes - that this will ever end up being a finished product. But only time will tell. At this point in time, there's one amazingly hot model, two okay models, and a less-than-okay model but with huge boobs.

And a painfully bad and short sandbox.

Epilogue wasn't well developed, for a guy with amnesia it's response to what was going on was just like as someone arriving in an unknown environment, Milf didn't even calling a Doc after weeks of "coma" was weird too.
Characters presentations wasn't that well developed too.

Bad:
Navigate through the house was unnecessarily difficult, dev might think a better way to do it, larger arrows, lightboxes though doors/passways or a "The Sims" house view would be better.

the first thing that needs to be said its that the visual aspect its well done, the characters have interesting designs that look different from the stock models that appear in most other games, clearly the dev spent time working on the models to make them look unique including the MC model.

The quality of the renders its really good and the environments are also different from the usual rooms.

In terms of the story so far there is not much to go on, the MC has amnesia so rediscovering his life might be the basis of the plot although apparently there is more to discover.

Since this is a first version, there's not a lot of content, although there was supposed to be more than what it's currently shown, but due to hardware problems the full content was not released, a future update might rectify this showing the full planed content.

The gameplay aspect its where things get complicated, the game has a freeroam system that could be simpler to navigate since in its current form it takes too many clicks to go from place to the other, it also has the recurring problem with freeroam games of having many areas but too little content to see.

I do recommend people to play this game since its visual aspect are really good and the story presents several possibilities that are worth exploring in future updates.

Edit: I am going to keep most things in the original review because those were my genuine feelings while playing the game for the first time. However, the dev reached out to explain a few things. I won't spoil a thing out of respect for them and you who is playing this game. BUT, this story will have guts and plenty of intrigue and everything in this version has a purpose. That's all I will say. Based on what the dev told me I upped my rating to 4 stars because the story sounds too good to pass up if done well.

Now on with my original review

I expected this first look to be a lot longer considering it was greater than 1 GB download size(explained in dev notes), but it was pretty average. Given that, this is a very subjective review and will change in the future.

Others have said it before me, the initial plot device is wholly unoriginal. Immediately you are hit with the amnesia bat. Dude wakes up in his room and is like "Where am I!?". I audibly groaned. This plot device is almost a guarantee in a new game anymore. What's worse is I literally just got done with another amnesia game update right before booting this up. Anyways, what comes after that is worse. The... mom? aunt? comes in and is like "I found you in your room not breathing!" I'm sorry, what!? You didn't call an ambulance? At this point if the game isnt about a failed murder plot I will be more confused and upset about this massive plot hole. Also, if he wasn't breathing and this all took place weeks ago the MC should definitely be dead. Then you meet everyone else in the house including Megan Fox and that's pretty much all there is to it at this point.

The renders are... good, I think. Sometimes they look amazing and other times something looks haunting about them. Especially the MC. I'm going to put my favorite part up top here, I loved the house. I have never seen it before. I'm not sure if its an original, but every part of it seemed fresh and lovingly made. Now for the characters. The MC felt off to me for some reason. He doesn't look bad, but for some reason the first name that came to mind was Willem Dafoe. He looks his age and his skin isn't perfect which I admire. There is a shot or two that his hair part is very very parted. Bald stripe down his head. Megan Fox looks like Megan Fox. The Mom and younger sister look related but Fox does not. Then there is the obligitory massive busted friend that shows up. The models aren't perfect, but they aren't bad. I'd argue that sometimes they look too life-like for a game like this and that's what is off putting to me.

As for the writing; I couldn't find anything overtly wrong or cringy outside of the overused plot. At this point I'd welcome back the long forgotten son trope. The dialogue wasn't that great. It feels clunky. The dude has amnesia, he has already told one person, so why not tell them all? They are bound to find out. I loved the old cartoon implementation of the MC talking to the friend. The conversation was once sided, we can't hear the friend. That being said, it makes me feel less like I am the MC and more like I'm watching him. (Edit: I don't play these games with sound, but I guess the friends lines were spoken not written? Personally not a fan of that choice.)

The gameplay is pretty limited but I do have early issues. Along with it being another amnesia game, it's also, thus far, a sandbox on rails. You can click around the house, but you can't go in closed rooms unless you're meant to. My sisters and I never ever locked our doors, so what did this creep do that they lock their doors when they are inside? Also, choices are limited and a most of them I looked at and said "umm, neither?" because they were so clearly not what a normal person would do, even with amnesia. Either make a true sandbox or a true VN, don't try to do both unless it's like Being a DIK where they have dedicated sections that contribute to the plot.

This is way too much to say about a game with maybe 15 minutes of play time. Give it a shot if you aren't adverse to 0.1s, and if you are then add this to your watchlist.

This is typically one of those 'depends on what you're looking for' games. The visuals are awesome and most of the female models look very sexy. But if you're looking for an original story and realistic characters then you might want to keep looking, because neither are here.

Even though this is only a (short) first release, it's already pretty clear where this game is heading. No-nonsense, fast paced and lots of sex.

The renders are top-notch, with lots of detail in both the models and the general surroundings. It all looks very realistic. The only thing that stands out are the comically large breasts on some of the female models. Not my thing but I guess some people like that stuff. The use of English is flawless (which unfortunately isn't self-evident in these games) and I liked the use of music and sounds.

And that's it. If you like to watch some high resolution bimbo chicks get fucked then this is probably the game for you, but don't expect a realistic story to go with that. This is your typical 'geek in a house full of horny chicks' game. One with very nice visuals, but nothing more.

Your "friend of your" mom thinks it's totally fine when you suddenly kiss her, you big sister(?) walks around the house half naked and lets you touch her breasts to 'refresh your memory', and her friend has tits so big it looks like she's wearing another person under her shirt. That's the kind of stuff you should expect. And if that doesn't bother you this could become something really nice.
