Recommending Good Girl Gone Bad VS Our Red String

I recently played Good Girl Gone Bad, and I really liked the game. I found out that the same developers have another game, but it has two main characters, which I don't really like. I would like to know your opinion on which of these games is better? Which one has better corruption transformation into a whore? Lots of clothing types and different paths? And can you briefly tell me about your experience with this game?

If anyone hasn't played Good Girl Gone Bad, I highly recommend it.

I feel GGGB plays more into the corruption aspect including the option to go full-on bimbo among other kinks. I feel it's a more fetish-focused game in general, but I'm not as familiar with ORS.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I know that GGGB is more about fetishes, corruption, etc. Have you played through it completely, and if so, which path did you take? I've also heard that Our Red String is more about the plot and dialogue, but I don't understand how much corruption there is and whether it's possible to turn a character into a prostitute with sex.

I did the BBC route and broke up with the BF. I don't think ORS goes that far in any route right now.

ORS is far more in-depth and ambitious with its storytelling and character building. I ended up really liking the male MC's friend group. Their hangout places and general vibe is so chill and while they also have glaring flaws (as do all people in the world). They feel so much more grounded and tightly knit together. I vastly liked ORS writing far more than GGGB's but that just really goes to show that GGGB really was the game before ORS. As you can very clearly see a drastic improvement in drawing quality and a giant increase in background quality.

I can understand how dual protagonists might sound unappealing at first but that's how we're able to interact with 2 different worlds with it not feeling out of nowhere since those 2 worlds are each protagonist's own environments and social circles. The story slowly but surely has both worlds slowly connect together through the relationship of both protagonists which can be fully exclusive and romantic, or both can be just friends and have their own partners outside of a serious relationship, or see each other as just friends with benefits. Or both can be cheaters.

The amount of established named characters in ORS is staggering at times but that's also what gives it so much replay value even now. With so many different routes and permutations that yes, have massively bogged down the frequency at which the game is updated, but in my honest opinion, that's also makes it leagues above GGGB. And speaking of the characters of GGGB, you can even meet a few of those characters during ORS as cameos, one or two of them also seem to have a very high likelihood of having a route of their own with one of the MCs.

About the clothes, I think it's similar if not more detailed than GGGB. I think GGGB also let you choose among attires but I really don't remember. In ORS, you can pick among 4 different attires if you bought the clothes for each MC. The clothes I believe either influence one of your attributes more thorought the chapter or you can only wear them if you lean towards that attribute. I'm not too sure to be honest, I always defaulted both MCs to use the "Lust" leaning attire.

As for the last of your concerns I haven't addressed yet, I'd say corruption is near nonexistent in ORS. The Female MC already is comfortable enough with artistic nudity as she does modeling on her free time, she's not famous nor a slut when she's introduced but through your decisions, she can be even more open minded to sexuality and promiscuity and by following such a general behavior and getting to know a specific female character, integrating said character to a promiscuous friend of Female MC, you can play a part in corrupting that character where such a transformation is very night and day, similar in nature to the transformation of the main character in GGGB but you're far less involved in it, you just slowly get to see how she's coming along as the story progresses. I wish I could say more but I feel like I've spoiled enough, you should seriously give it a try on your own.

Thank you for such a long and detailed review, it really means a lot to me.

I prefer ORS as the game have genuine romance and love routes are better written that slutty routes. GGGB is more about kinks that have nothing which interest me but I played just for Jack since he's the best looking male character and I didn't regret. I like Eric and Dave too.
