New update, and it has a few interesting things but also a few missed opportunities and some weird decisions
Interesting thing : Saito's transformation is a neat idea, at that point the game embraced its absurd aspect so the absurdity of his transformation is fine. The only issue I found with it is that in the gallery, he doesn't have alts for his other clothes, but this is very minor. Also, I wish there was a scene that parallelled the moment he first saw his yellow eyes where he looked himself in the mirror and saw how different he looked, here it just feels like he just spontaneously knows about his transformation and is just playing dumb about it to Natsume. Talking about Natsume, she's interesting and I like how she was done in this chapter, though some aspects could've been done better imo. Also, this update firmly cemented that this game is basically a linear story, which should be the way this game should've begin with tbh cuz the ability to start multiple quests at the same time was useless.
Missed opportunity : The chapter kinda drags on for a while and it all explodes at the very end with a lot of big reveals and sex scene and cliffhanger. I would've been interesting if Saito felt tempted and enraptured by Natsume's charm initially and she teased him a lot more sexually but always left him blueballed, and after his transformation, it'd be the first time he actually got assertive towards her. Natsume could've also used that info to tease Asami or something, until after he's transformed and showed her what he's capable of.
Weird decision : Hitting someone in the neck temporarily suppresses the X3 pills ? That's kinda stupid. It feels like an extremely unsatisfying way to resolve the issue of "is Akira ever gonna be a threat again". It feels like it was an afterthought. Akira drinking sewer water (on accident, Saito pushes him in the sewer water) and it miraculously making Akira less horny over Saito would've legit been a much more absurd and better way to have Akira become a threat again, while also making that Saito creates his new obstacle rather than the Master doing it. Also, the policeman who's also the father of Takeo is both at Sayuri's house and at Yasuka's house, its a bit weird that its the same guy. I would've prefered the policeman at Sayuri's home to not have a portrait, or rolling with the absurdity and have Noriko say "Hey weren't you guarding my home a minute ago" and the policeman saying something like "We switch around which home we watch over a few times a day."
Other than that, good update, and I can't wait to see the bad ending updates.
