Well obviously looking at that pic no one would think that but the way the inside is structured. When you leave MCs room and click to go to the living room it kinda looks like you will be going down the stairs if you're not too focused on the house itself.

I'll give you that: it's kinda weird to leave the bedrooms/bathroom area to the left and enter the living room from the left side as well. But it somehow never occurred to me that this might be because of a stairway.

I think when the game is completed you'll have the option of rejecting LIs and if so they end up with someone else but could be mistaken.

i really love the background visuals in this game. also the sprites are very nicely done.

but ... the mc really is a woke little nice guy. holy. first he goes out of his way to tell minato that his sister might meet a guy or a girl just to be that extra little bit woke, and then he of course would never judge the restaurant girl for wanting to become a video prostitute. nice.
that was really a woke overdose in such a short time. lol *rant off*

that said, i dont want to leave a review since i have no clue how to rate a game that has the most professional UI and presentation of any western AVN i've played so far (~ 80), but put me off so much with its mc. also the whiteknighting against akira and nice guy-ing with the future video prostitute... *shudder*

of course i enjoyed the blackmailing route lol

anyway, its just a matter of taste and worldview. the game clearly is nicely done even though the sex scenes could imo use a bit more descriptive language.

i'm sure many enjoy the game, so i hope you all continue to have a good time with it

Personally I viewed the prostitute thing as the mc not really caring as opposed to white knighting but maybe I'm misremembering. Regarding Akira, he's a cunt, why would you let him have his way?

in the talk about her porn career the mc just gave the kinda cringe 'i would of course never never slut shame you'-talk - i think i called that nice guy behaviour not whiteknighting.

with akira yeah he hates him, but still it leaves at least for me a bad taste in my mouth if the mc interferes in something just to ruin it for another guy, even though he barely knows the girl. i get it, but i'm just to disgusted by now with the whiteknighting you see all the time. if he just cared about the wellbeing of the girl then fine, but to try to get with her by ruining it for another guy is just weak.

I didn't remember about that slut shame comment, agree there but cucking Akira (his bully) seems like a good first step towards the MC moving towards getting back at him instead of being a pussy and taking it. Don't forget Akira is not a "bro" and has been making MCs life hell at school.

In Japan before the so called now "first world" move towards rainbow hell... Traditionally, there was tolerance to homosexuality and even incest in most cases. Moreover, the prostitution in Japan wasn't too much bad seen as most in "occident", even considering that the nowadays Japan is ilegal, there is an overall sexual industry that leave "occident" like kids play, besides, there's a lot of women and girls working in prostitution there, but all of them will deny it to not get in trouble. MC in this game as most can be considered as an "Old Right" in Japan, originally he had the Rising Sun Flag in his room.

yeah, of course. it just seemed petty since he told her akiras contacts are hardcore porn makers (when he still didnt know about her wish to become one herself). seemed like the little girl in elemantary school snitching to the teacher lol. if he took her from him in a assertive way and took revenge in another way it would have been fine. but like that it was just picture book whiteknighting. in Cosy Cafe for example the mc is also trying to improve the girls lives, but its always enjoyable, since it feels like he does it with pure altruistic intentions since he is able to attract the girls in other ways and doesn't need the whiteknighting.

He was being petty and basically meddling, but again akira has been bullying him for a long time and considering MC in his past life was a loser till the end and has only started to change it would be stranger if he came out as an alpha male and being a badass all of a sudden.

If anything his relationship with his "friend" pisses me off more, it's clear early on that he treats him like utter trash and there should be an earlier option of cutting ties and seeking more info on him (leading to finding out what a pos he is).

Hmmm I think this is a bit of a cope/bad argument.
Consensual incest is actually legal in a lot of countries, even those you consider "occident", Japan has a lot of different type of porn and fetishes and while you might consider that free, the citizens themselves are quite conservative and sexually repressed (hence the need for extreme fetishes in porn).

Regarding the MC, just because he had a rising flag doesn't mean anything, outside of not "slut shaming" where does he display this so called "old right".

The flag was changed due to backlash or potential backlash, I forget. The rising sun flag gets a LOT of Korean and Chinese people in a twist for historical reasons.

yeah, you are right. it fits to his character and to the story. sadly that doesnt make it less repulsive for me as the player though

i stopped playing at him agreeing to support the restaurant chick. has mc's behaviour changed considerably yet at the end of the version content (aside from the noriko paths)?

He does change but so far he more of a cunning MC than anything else,for example even maxing macumbas training, MC still doesn't beat up the 3 stooges himself. He orchestrates macumba to do it for him.

Though IIRC the next update will finally have the dojo which means he will train and hopefully he will start taking more action.
