Everyone should be using alternative search engines now days. Except for when you use the "letmegooglethatforyou" thing for people who absolutely refuse to take 3 seconds to do a search but would rather spend 3 minutes making a post here asking that question.

Because google wants to control what you see, which is why you shouldn't be using them,,, for anything.

DDG is an excellent option.

I live in the Czech Republic. f95zone is the first result I get when I google: adult games forum. But I know there was a time when Google didn't show f95zone in relevant positions, when I typed some general keywords about adult games.
But it still found f95zone when I searched for a particular adult game, so I'm sure it was a google algorithm rather than some forced government censorship.

They only relevant thing that it does that Google doesn't is not save your search history. Each search still has a unique fingerprint and can be traced right back to you quite easily, incognito or not. All they're doing is pushing a false premise of privacy for paranoid users who don't know how to use Tails or Whonix. The fact that they're affiliated with Microsoft says all it needs to, honestly. And if people believe the data from those ads aren't going back to the mothership, then they have another thing coming.

I don't use DDG because I'm lazy but I think one positive you didn't mention is that you don't use any other connected service they run. The problem with Google isn't really just that they save your search history. It's that you probably also use Gmail, YouTube, etc, and it's all connected. Breaking up how much information any one company has on you might still be a good thing, even if that other company also doesn't do everything perfectly.

MissFortune: Actually, one of the main points to use DDG is that DDG is not filtering the search. Google is well-known to manipulate search results and, for example, 99% of the time only shows you left-leaning sites as results.

jeananonymous: Yes, I just noticed it when I tried to search F95zone + MGD on my phone to get to the games thread immediately. Though, I got no problems finding the site on my PC. I don't know why. The biggest differences are that I frequent F95 on my desktop a lot and that I block absolutely fucking everything on it too.

All those answers, and no one who just gave the reason:

F95zone is ghosted because Google toggled the safe search ON by default. Turn it OFF again, and all the threads appear again.

anne O'nymous: That would be news to me. It also doesn't explain why it didn't show on my phone even though I never changed any options on there, because all the other smut was shown perfectly fine atleast a week ago.

Well, like everyone else on this thread, and more or less at the same moment than them, F95zone disappeared from Google. But I also noticed that the "safe mode enabled" indicator appeared at the exact same time, and disabling it made F95zone reappear instantly and for any research I can have to make.

After, this doesn't mean that there isn't others, more locales, causes behind this change of behavior. It's possible that Google had to change its policy regarding adult content because of some pressure from this or that country, manufacturer, or whatever else, and that it implied a reset of the safe mode.
But it don't change the fact that for most users, the issue is only due to the safe mode having been forced on by default.
