KoGa3 :

Something's wrong with the new version of the jukebox player. It works fine if you don't try to do anything with it, but if you try to access it through the mod menu, it causes the game to crash, leaving a message about 'KoGa3JukeboxPlayNew' is not defined , and the option to rollback or quit. And it's been like that since the new version was out, and I've had the exact same kind of crash before, too. But I know you'd prefer the traceback file, so you can read it yourself, and see what is causing the issue. And in my specific case tonight, I was just trying to see what the name of the song playing was...

Questions:

Did you install the WT mod before installing the Music Jukebox?
Did you install the correct version of the WT for the game version?

Reasons:

The Music Jukebox is ONLY an Add-On for the WT mod. It doesn't work without it. It works PERFECTLY with it. Each game update means that you need to update the WT mod, ONLY. The Music Add-On doesn't need to be updated.

If you are not using the Update method, and instead downloading and extracting the full version each time, if you want to have the Music Jukebox Ad-On to work, you need to install BOTH the WT mod (first) paying attention to match the game version, and afterwards, the Music one (second). The Music one is version independent, it's requirement is that it depends on the WT mod and only for Part 5 of the game (version 0.69 and up).

Peace :(

I checked the music player in my Mod on my PC (where I do my "modding") and also as a new install on my old notebook. But for me it worked without an issue.

According your error log there is a variable missing. But that variable is actually defined in the add on script file. So I only can assume there went something wrong with the install of it. Be aware, as also mentioned above, the music player is now in game part 5 an ADD ON (was requested from some users). Meaning you have to install the actual WT Mod and after that the version independend (for game part 5) music player. Other then that try to re-download the add on again, maybe there is something wrong with your download.

That's what I'm saying, I did exactly as instructed, and added the WT mod, and then the music ADD ON mod, and I got that error message all the same. But I will try again next update, as I did get through it anyway, by just leaving the mod alone while playing the update. Now, I have to say that I had only downloaded update patches for both two previous updates, so technically my version was 0.69, updated to 70 & 71 via those update patches. And I don't know if that could have caused the issue, but in the interest of full disclosure, I'd thought I'd include that info as well. With that being said, a belated happy new year to you, and thanks for all the good work you do.

I did exactly what you did (with the updates) but didn't have any issues with the walkthrough nor playing the music in any of the updates. Not helpful, I know, but just thought I'd eliminate one variable.

Hi there. I followed the instructions for the Part 1 version and the game won't open. Here is the text I receive.

I realize this is regarding an older version, so you may not care anymore, but I'm just discovering this game. Thought I would post in case you can help. Thanks!

More details are needed.

- What did you install?
- Where?
- What instructions?

From a first look you are running the Android version. That's all I can see. So, please tell us more.

Peace :)

- The walkthrough mod for v 0.16
- Extracted the files/folders and moved to game folder as per the instructions.
- Those instructions I just mentioned.

I'm running the mac version.

*Edit: Update*
Well, now my computer is telling me this game can't even be opened. Even deleting it and reinstalling a completely fresh version doesn't fix it, so I guess my computer is looking at this game as corrupted now and I have no desire to go about trying to fix that. Guess I'm just not playing it. Thanks anyway, all, but no point in looking for a fix.

Hi. I am no Mac expert, but I remember an odd behaviour in newer Mac version when merging subfolders. Instead to simply add the new content from my Mod it actually completely wipes the original folder (in this case the "gui") in your install and put the new one from my Mod. And now of course the original files there are missing. Like the game file "windows_icon.png" from your error log (and probably some more). Unfortunately don't know why it's now even blocking to re-install the main game. As said I don't have much experience on Mac systems, maybe someone else can help you with that.

Hi. I actually don't touch the gallery code in my Mod. I checked the last scene, but for me it's working. What are your issues with it?
This scene is supposed to involve several girls, but they all leave at the start of the scene and only Catherine remains, but the dialogue is still behaving as if all the girls are there.

For some unknown reasons it seems the game "believes" in the replay you have taken down all of the girls in your normal playthrough. The replay code checks that at every scene start. That imo can happen when you delete the persistent file where these infos are stored for the gallery. Be aware, an "unlock" does NOT get you that back!

I tested that, and when I remove the persistent file I also get that pic with only one girl (Cat)
If I put the file back I get this one:
Unfortunately, there seems to be no other way to get this information back into the persistent file than to play the game.

There is maybe a work around to see the full replay scenes without doing that: load a game save and turn in my Mod menu the "skip decisions and show most scenes" ON. After that go back to the game replay again. Don't forget to set it OFF again for your normal playthrough
