I understand new parts to keep the file size down for those less fortunate of internet speed, but it's getting to be a bit much at this point. Can we have a whole release that gets updated and one that is parted out for those that are less fortunate. It screwed me up somewhere and I had to redownload and make a whole new save in order to continue.
The problem with your "less fortunate" speech is, what you're really asking for is a concession to the minority who have issues following the relatively-simple instructions for preparing a save at the end of one part for use to continue the game in the next part.
This is especially true when you realize the minority gets smaller with each part that comes out, because the increasingly larger majority that makes it to the most recent part have learned how to properly prepare the special save through repetition.
Also, you're on the pirate site asking one of the more stubborn devs on F95 to change his ways, something that would be unlikely to happen if you were asking on Patreon, and definitely isn't going to happen before the game is finished, and even then it's still not very likely to happen after that because MB will have moved on to his next game by then.
MB has stated multiple times in the past that going back to fix something already released isn't really high on his to-do lists.
And last, but certainly not least, you're complaining on KoGa3's Mod thread, and I really can't see him using his valuable time to write the code necessary to A) Match part 1 to the coding style of the rest of the parts, and B) Do the necessary work to merge the games into a single playable unit. And even if he WAS considering it, he wouldn't do it before the game was finished.
Actually, one more thing: If you're NOT one of the "Less Fortunate," why can't you just keep all the parts downloaded until you've finished the game so you can quickly Ctrl-skip through everything to catch up to where you were if, for some reason, you screw "it" up again somehow?
