Almost Done, But My Computer Needs Life Support

Hey everyone!
Remember how I confidently said the update would drop in mid-September? Well… technically I wasn’t lying — it’s basically ready. The story, mechanics, choices — all working fine. What’s missing are the images. And that’s where things got tricky.
The real problem is that I decided to go a little overboard: I wanted every character to have multiple outfits, so that in cutscenes they’d actually appear in whatever clothes the player picked. Technically, I made it work. It looks great. But! Rendering all those variations is turning my computer into a space heater. And since my PC is closer to a toaster than a spaceship… yeah, it just can’t handle it. That’s what’s slowing me down.
I do have a couple of ideas to solve it (and no, selling a kidney for an upgrade isn’t one of them), so progress is moving forward — just slower than I’d like. Sorry about that.
A huge thank you to everyone who supports me on Patreon. Seriously, it helps me so much, especially when I’m sitting here arguing with my hardware about which one of us has fewer brain cells. I know there’s extra content promised for patrons that I haven’t had time to finish yet. I haven’t forgotten! Just need more hours in the day.
As for timing: I’m really hoping to finish everything by the end of September. Worst case — early October. But here’s some good news: I completely redrew the doctor’s model. It took a lot of time, but honestly, I think it’s the best one I’ve made so far. Hopefully, you’ll like it as much as I do.

Just a friendly critique......when a character is talking, you zoom into them and back out again after half a second......please just zoom in and leave it there until I click on the mouse and advance the scene.....I found it very annoying and it disrupted my reading of the text....should be a very easy fix.....other than that I like it so far and will look forward to where this goes.

Hey everyone!
First off, a deep bow and a massive "thank you" to everyone who’s been hanging around here all this time. But a special shout-out and a ton of love go to those superhumans and true heroes who’ve been tossing a coin to their creator through a paid subscription. Guys, you are the fuel for this crazy engine, and it’s honestly because of you that I haven’t thrown the whole thing into the trash heap.
The big news: I’ve finally finished version 0.2!
As promised, access will initially be exclusive to my paid patrons—consider it your well-deserved reward for believing in me. Everyone else will get to poke around the update in two weeks when it hits public release. The link will be in the next post as soon as the servers finish digesting these terabytes of content.
Now for a serious talk—let’s talk politics.
I kind of like Patreon, but their rules lately have been a total clusterfuck. They’re all over the place, and I don’t want to wake up one day to find my account banned just because someone got their panties in a twist over my explicit scenes. I’m not planning to wait around until I’m kicked out into the cold.
