Oh i didnt know that, i was able to do it from one VM to another, idk how to fix that honestly but i imagine there must be a way to fool the software, read the json and see if you can find anything other than the title that indicates what languaje model or software version was used to translate the json, that should work mainly becouse i used to load json files translated with sugoi but from my own machine and mtool didnt give me any errors so, following that logic mtool surely is not looking for what model was used but instead its looking for some kind of signature that indicates the file was translated by the paid version of mtool.
