Hello, I'm Hachi.

Some of you might know my from my game Hail Dicktator.
For a bit over two years, I've been working (also solo) on a side project. Now it is finally in a presentable stage.

I'm very proud to introduce:
D-Sim

What is D-Sim:

D-Sim is a story driven real-time 3D game with next-gen graphics.


There will be sandbox elements, as well as cut-scenes and a full story, all presented in high-end next-gen graphics.

Existing and planned Features:

  • Next-gen high-end graphics
  • Story driven
  • Day/Evening/Night cycle
  • Sanbox-mode with tons of content
  • Featuring BDSM and other fetishes
  • Dynamic and controllable sex scenes
  • Multiple girls
  • Multiple outfits for each girl
  • Multiple locations to travel in between
  • Fully animated cutscenes with voice actors
  • Gameplay: strategy with RPG elements

Videos:

All videos have been recorded in 1440p on ultra settings. Unfortunately, I cannot embed redgif videos (most of the supported embed sites are anti-porn). For a full quality video, see the youtube video at the end.










I'm currently working on getting a first demo done. The roadmap for that is mainly adding more content, as well as initial cutscenes and finishing the gameplay loop. At the same time, I'll be working on a first real trailer that will also give a teaser for the story. I can't quite give an ETA, but I'll work hard to get a first public demo done by the end of autumn.

Let me know if you have any questions. I have more videos and pictures, too. I'll try to regularly update this thread and answer questions as much as I can.

Looks and sounds amazing.
When I read next-gen graphics, I rolled my eyes because, IMO, it's become a cliche term, but I think that this is a true statement here. Looking forward to more. :giggle:

Looking at the short videos posted above, as well as the "ain't no grave" demo , I have to say the "next gen" graphics look good, and the song lip sync looks REALLY good!
The facial animations show much promise.
I am interested in seeing more demos of full model animations: idle motion and walking, and dancing.

FYI: I really, really enjoyed, and am still enjoying Hail Dicktator, and I hope that this project fulfills your (and our) expectations.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!

What are the hardware requirements? Does it use RTX, does it need over 8Gb Vram?

PS: graphics look great :D
Anything with RTX should be fine to play on almost high-ultra quality settings. I've tested on lower settings, and it's playable on a 980, even, though only on lower settings. There are some very advanced shaders and simulations on the characters, but I'm including all sorts of advanced graphics settings to adjust both vram usage and performance.

I reached a big milestone this week. The demo is essentially done. However, I will take some time to polish and add extra things before release. There will also be a preliminary test with interested supporters to eliminate any major problems before a wider release of the demo.

I'm happy to say that the scope I set for myself for the demo has been reached. This includes the following:

  • Full animation suite to rapidly add and edit animations including editing of all additional features (things like tit-bounciness, fluids, facial movement, IK bindings, genital morphs). All of this can be now be done in self-made editors without adding a single line of code.

  • Game event system: I implemented this system similar to what I did in Hail Dicktator, as it's been very robust and battle tested. I took all the experience from that and improved on it. This will drive the base quests, dialogue and gameplay logic of the game.

  • Cutscene system: This was essential to having a story driven game. The game supports a full timeline system with all features of the animation suite available to be used there, in addition with animation tracks and full cinematic camera control. It also interfaces with the event system and dialogue system.

  • Modularity: every system in the game is modular. This allows for additional models, locations and cutscenes without the need to start from scratch. Bringing in a model, something that without this design would take multiple weeks to months, I can do now within hours. This also includes models of different proportions, which can be easily adapted for every animation in the suite I built. It also means for performance that only necessary things are in memory (however for the demo, it will still require a bit more ram and vram, as I have to clean up and balance some things (mainly texture sizes))

  • Gameplay loop: I added a system to include any type of activity. This can range from minigames, to action adventure, first person, or top down tactical shooter. For now, I added a simple RPG style quest system. I made it very simple on purpose because I'm able to go into any direction from there. However, the direction will change the scope significantly, and I might need help depending on the direction. However, a simple system like it is now will enable me to continue developing the game and story all by my own without being dependent on a highly demanding side-game. But because of how it was designed, this gameplay loop can be expanded or replaced at any time with the growth of the game.

  • Several hi-fidelity features including: high quality skin shading, realistic fluids on skin, Inverse kinematic, penetration driven genital morphing, physics based tits and ass bounciness, skinned mesh softbody, strand based hair with high quality shaders, highly detail clothing, cloth simulation, different fully switchable lighting scenarios, light rigging, and much much more.

  • A lot more I will go into another time.

From here on out, I will be posting more previews of what's already been done.

hey I'm loving the experience on hail dicktator, amazing work

I was wondering, are breast physics linked to the animation?
I don't mean it as bad, but they look off, as if they lack gravity and don't bounce right

Nice, already looking forward! If it's not a secret have you created your own shader for hair? Any tips? Looks really good.

Thank you. Ive been using very experimental new strand hair stuff from unity and have been fiddling around it for like almost 2 years. For the shader I've been evolving the shader that was used in unity's promotion "Enemies" project.
It does have quite the performance impact but there are fallbacks.
