I really want to love this game. It ticks pretty much everything I like, the only thing that really throws me off when I try it again every couple of years is, that I just don't manage to get the 4 Exhib Events before winter starts. Does anybody have the prerequisites for each event so I can time them out? It seems like it's dependent on having done other storypoints before the actual events on sunday morning open up?
Does anyone remember how they got the events early enough since many things afterwards seem to depend on having exhib=4

hello everyone i just wanted to try the game but i don't know why after entering the amount of cash for start the date of my game come to august 22 at january 22 and energy transform into this I`m just exhausted - it`s time to relax. and my character just die after choosing the main trait, i use windows and the last version of qsp, thanks if you can help me, have a good day and sorry for my english

u shuld use QSP witch included in the game

Thanks to you, i haven't think of using the QSP file in the game file for launching the game, because they ask me to use something to read QSP file i just fought of downloading the apk itself,

Its complete, but its somewhat buggy, has a terrible english translation, and several questlines/events are horrible to find without following a guide, if you can even find a guide.

somewhere in the last 20 pages on the forum there are some small fixes, but still very difficult to play it all.
I even had a look to do a new translations, but QSP is a horrible story builder. And rewriting everything in Twine or similar would take ages....

I can confirm that. I started the journey of retranslating it. I was wanting to challenge myself to offer a multiple language support so any fix can be done for all versions. This is when I see the state of the code.
Basically to fully understand the logic, all the code need to be cleaned, variables need to be set to meaningfull name and there usage uniformized, even the tabulation is confusing. I started doing that and found a few logic issues. Some due to the readability of the code produced iteratively, some because of the lack of centralization of sub systems.
This is where I fall into the rabit hole. I sadly cannot prevent myselft to see what can be updated along the change that could bring value.

I am not working on it concistently anymore. I cannot affoard it. But it still have some progress here and there. I cannot give any delivery date due to the work remaining on it. But expect it to take some more years.

I think the best thing would be to remake the game in another engine, and only take the general events and story.
Completely remove the overly complex time management and do either some daily actions or time based system like: "early morning", "morning" and similar.
The code is horrible to work with, in my opinion and the machine translation doesn't make it any easier. Perhaps it would work better to redo it from the Russian original, but even then I'm sceptical.

But if you can do it with QSP I would be very impressed :D

This is what I did but even the original one is really hard to follow...

Other change in QSP are more drastically disadventaging like the former and behaviour was binarywise and was making mask operation really easy to perform for packed data of what one possess for instance. But it changed to become logical one requiring to either amend the QSP source (which I believe is a bad idea) or rewrite a bunch of additional operator to do the masking I was using...

If you are curious I can share with you a really wip version so you can see how some part can be done.

Thank you, but at the moment I really don't have any time. Perhaps at a later stage in 1-2 years or so :D
QSP is also really not my engine :)

Re: tabulation: you may want to write yourself a simple Python program for that.

Re: variable names: make good use of the Find function of your text editor to find and rename variables, but be cautious to use Find+Replace.

I thought about it yes but I dunno how to open the qsp room codes out of Quest Generator. If you have any info on that it would simplify greatly my life a lot. Even the replacement could be way better if I can power them with regex...

ERRATA: Oh wait. There is a 4.3.0 of the editor now that support regex for replacement :geek:
