I much rather wait for updates that are worth playing everytime compared to updates that arent worth playing once.

Buppy originally just wanted to take a few digital art commissions to do during December (Since buppy needed buppybuxs and I get asked all the time!) but after bouncing around some ideas, they turned into NPC guest characters. Each character will even have sex scenes in the game! Alongside that, a new weapon will be included and of course a new ABDL foe so if you count the failed experiment, build 13 is going to be huge. After build 13 is completed, I plan to focus purely on foes to complete the stages till we reach the final one to design, Trinity's stage.

I am glad people like the scenes I showcased in the "prototype" of Happy Heart Hell! Honestly, the project was never completed and was designed purely for my spouse so I never had intentions on selling it. I originally just privately made games for Whispy to both learn how to make them and to make him happy (Honestly he has a lot of other smaller projects, animations, and old art backed up that I did!). It wasn't till my final semester that I decided to take the risk of making Happy Heart Hell and feel it was a amazing release even if I was rushed financially to plop it out earlier then I wanted to (That and I was SOOOoo tired and just wanted to see if people were even interested. By that point it felt like I was making games my entire life!)

Anyways I hope everyone has a great 2021 and I'll do my best to remain as active as I can! I apologize for being slow and I really blame the massive scope of HHP; I know for my next title I'll try to focus on smaller projects that I can pump more daily content out in, I just don't want to be one of those developers that drop a game that is looked forwards to by so many people. If nothing goes wrong, in about a year Whispy will be a nurse so that'll help out a ton and allow us to do more cool stuff! I was thinking the same thing, wouldn't alot of patreon members unpledge since they wanted to support HHP and now itll be a back burner project that never gets finished and becomes abandoned, if that's the case its extremely unfortunate, because the possibilities are endless in HHP

P'sure it's basically the same effort they'd put in, but instead of them super stuffing the main game so that the ABDL area is just wackily bigger than the others- they're just cutting the part of work they'd spend on ABDL content and using said effort to just make a game more specifically tuned to Whispy's endless hunger for diapers or whatever. So, basically same output as before, least, that's how I read it.

That guy gets it, Doggie just wanted to help others interested in making porn games so he set Mondays as the date for people in his community to get together and help each other make lewd games. Weekly updates for all the projects get independently posted to his discord in the "monday-pornjam-features" channel by those with the "Game Designer" role. Anyone can join in during the monday stream and even get to participate by forcing yourself to work on a project to show everyone.

In essence, the time he would've used in adding more content into the daycare stage is just being focused into a new project made from scratch which will make it easier for him to help those during the monday streams. HHP is still being worked on with like 5 new encounters (L'aera, Larua, Olly, Cerise, and the ABDL mommy.) and a new weapon getting very close to release.

I'm rewriting this because it sounded harsh the first time around and wasnt my intention, I was pledged but lost my job, and had to cancel it, I got a new job, and was considering buying the most expensive membership for patreon again when I have money saved up, I love the game to bits and want the best for the game, the devs and the members. I'm stoked for build 13 and know itll be great.
