Nah, it doesn't. At best you'll get a WIP version of the next release (more likely just a preview animation), usually only even a few days or a week before the public release. If you're going to support, just be aware you're looking at a minimum of 3 months between versions at this point, if not significantly more since polls now apparently count as a reset on their release timer.
