I really enjoyed the Defense of Super Earth in Helldivers 2, and other than that, I've been playing a lesser known early access colony sim called Stardeus that scratches an itch for me Rimworld failed to do. (And its cheaper and doesn't have expensive dlc.)

Idk how but my Rimworld game is fucked, won't boot up. I probably have to remove mods, but frankly, I don't want to, cause I am a filthy mod loving rat who cant play vanilla

it's definitely either your mods or save corruption
from what i remember, rimworld mods had a big update and not a lot of them actually got ported to the next version
though this was from when the update was still new so idk, i play exclusively on an older version

If a game has freedom, it's a primary candidate for nsfw mods

I mean, Rimworld is the game that has a mod to track how many Geneva Convention laws you violated. It's also the game that lets you violate those laws in the vanilla game.

As for HHP, at this point all we can hope for is for someone who is 'inspired' by this game to make a spiritual successor, and hope that person is more capable than Doggie Bones.

Enough about Rimworld let's talk about Stardeus, in the latest update there's warp jumping, space exploration and ship combat. So basically you have Rimworld but its also FTL. The updates are frequent and meaningful and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in colony sims, its an underrated gem.

you need to use rimsort, if you want, install rimsort, create a modlist and dm it to me using the export function (file>export>rentry.co), it will create a rentry.co link with the entire modlist , ill tell you what mods are a nono and what mods do you need, rn i have a perfectly stable 367 mod setup.
It took me 3 weeks and a lot of discord messages to get it right.
