And this isn't the first time someone asked this very update's release date. One can scroll up to seldar12's casual conversation with Whuffin back at the 28th of August.

Most often than not those types of channels will hand out bans depending on mood. If the mods are having a good day then you will probably get away with doing something that's borderline against the rules, if they had a bad day though? Then just getting close to the line will probably get you a ban, sometimes just doing something that the admin sees as bad will do xD
Chances are that someone wasn't having a good day and reading that was just the straw that broke the camel's back.
