I heard something about a dipey avalanche recently. They're still finding bodies 3 weeks later....
Honestly that would be pretty dark, one day the dev is just ghosting the people as usual and then just up and dies, no one in the community notices because this is their mo untill like waaay later. I'm talking like a year before anyone starts asking questions

Like how people are still wondering what happened to Grimhelm, the "Alien Quest: Eve" dev, or if anything happened to him at all, as the dev in question would show some teasers or early demos for the game and then disappear until he finished the game. After he finished "Alien Quest: Eve" back in 2020, he never posted again, and now no one knows if he's even alive. Plus some jackass on this very forum later started spewing bullshit about "being a close friend of Grimhelm" and saying that Grimhelm died in a car crash. That same fucker never elaborated anything beyond that statement, so he definitely lied...

I hope that mminitdev ("Lewdest Labyrinth" dev)'s situation is not the same, because he released a demo for "Night Labyrinths" a year ago, and his latest post on his Twitter was somewhere around July-August, and because his work etiquette is the same as Grimhelm's (release a demo - disappear from the face of the earth to finish the game - return with a finished game), there's not much to do but hope for the best.

Couldn't agree more! Some people just love to stir up drama and/or are just full of it. Too many jump to conclusions or just don't even bother looking for easy to find information.

While I agree with the sentiment, I also think this is something people NEED to be pushed about. I don't mean in a negative way, I mean "if you're having trouble, reach out to someone, ANYONE". I know it's not easy; I've been in a psych ward before for attempted suicide, and even though I don't think I would have gone through with it, I'm still grateful a friend found me doing some dumb shit. You never know when it is or isn't serious, and the ONE time it is is the ONLY chance they will ever get: even if they don't like it, people should have that nagging voice in their head saying "just call someone you pussy". Who cares if it's a negative internal monologue, so long as it makes them DO IT, because "negativity" and "positivity" and all the nonsense petty stuff we surround it with ceases mattering once that person is gone.

People need to get tough on these dialogues and say "stay in contact, even if it's only a check-in with a friend or making a blog post or something completely inane". I know this will grind some gears, but in reality most of that "hands off" mentality is really just an excuse to be lazy and not care: if you care about someone, you WANT them to bother you with their problems when they need it. I genuinely don't believe that anyone who defends self-destructive behaviors actually cares, and that instead it's another petty method of excusing oneself of the responsibility of having to monitor/care about other people who might have greater struggles than us.

And let me be clear: I know we're on a porn site talking about a smut dev, but hey, even randos on the internet have saved lives by saying the right things in the right moment. Even if we excuse Doggie's utterly fucking terrible communication skills, there's still an argument to be made for the positive effects of keeping schedules, keeping in contact with people, and just generally staying involved with others. I'm not assuming anything about their actual situation, just saying that if we're taking examples of "bad outcomes" from people disconnecting, one way to offset that possibility is to just have some modicum of accountability and connectedness to keep people "in the game".

Its insane. YOu have a smooth gameplay, simple dialog without 7 million pages of story so you can focus on gameplay and sexual content. The animations are great, the mechanics are easy to understand. The art is actually great, pixel style and you actually see whats happening. However than you have devs that instead of focusing on their success just throw down the project. Sadge

The elusive gallery, can't be implemented because of bugs or some shit, when it's supposed to be as easy as spawning enemies while making them interactables.
"You don't understand, it's absolutely hard and impossible to make a level with different rooms with all the enemy's, and a save spot for each room so it's more convenient, because codding all that could take like 20 years.
Anyway here it's your 4 Scat new enemy's in the whole new world."

Fr now, gallery must be the easiest thing for H game, but apparently not.

Mind you, he had made a gallery before, in happy hearts hell. So it's not something he couldn't do. Nor could he do something as simple as putting the gallery below the saloon to save the hassle of adding the saloon scenes.

Completely different engine though. He literally learned a new one just to make Panic.

I'm more worriedabout the fact no one has heard from him or his SO since the last teaser back in like, what, September?
