"They" haven't posted anything. It's just a bunch of others complaining or entertaining themselves while we all wait until the next year for an update
The most outrageously hilarious thing about their Discord is that Azurezero, a totally unrelated h-game dev, posts more updates/news for their games than Doggie does on their own server. I'm not ragging on Azurezero at all (I enjoy their games personally), but my god how do people excuse such terrible communication that their own server is a more reliable source of other devs' updates than their own? I would normally give a dev the benefit of doubt in this situation, but Doggie's track record suggests it's just straight up not giving a shit (probably excused by "those meanyheads on f95 don't appreciate me enough").

Isn't it a bit scummy, for people who are actively being patrons of his subscribestar and other platforms
That they too get complete radio silence? Or "it'll be done when its done" type messages?
As a cheapskate I have no say in anything but communicating with your audience is the bare minimum you can do

esp when murder/suicides can happen. one group i liked called Furry Outpost ended up that way radio silence then one of their friends broke the news they killed each other. another dev i was watching called EugeneLoza was found dead suddenly too... can agree, some signs of life are nice so people dont assume the worst or the best of the worst.

Personal moan: it sucks that with how long the game has been going we've got i think like a total of one scene with Trinity. It genuinely sucks that she only features indirectly in the hypno event.
Don't forget the incomplete "save the citizens" quest, or the fact that the Daycare is their main focus and even THAT still isn't finished. YEARS after being introduced. Their MO is basically to tack on a new area with a slightly new theme, add one or two enemies, then forget about it for a year or two. Repeat ad nauseum.

In theory (Big quotes on that) if all the promised enemies are added into the next update with all the leaks, it should technically finish the last stage of the arcade thus making it nearly complete (Most likely missing the boss)

I would LOVE to be wrong about this, but temper your expectations: yet another unfortunate quirk of Doggie is that they used to do polls about which enemies they would add in updates, usually being a choice of 2 between 4-5 possible enemies. In each case Doggie offered preview animations/art of each character, indicating that they pre-emptively put in work on said enemies. Although I think that now most of the enemies previewed in 2020/2021 are in, that's still a whopping 3-4 years that it took just to finish off a list of maybe 6-7 enemies that were in those polls but didn't win. That's a maximum of 2 enemies per year.

I'm saying all of this mostly to manifest something along the lines of Doggie getting so sick of people clowning on them that they go turbo mode just to prove me wrong: I would love to see a big update that shuts me up, but I'm very, very confident that even if we see an update by April (assuming we're waiting 6 months minimum at this point) it will be 1-2 enemies at most.

Oh, and another combat rework and a new area with nothing in it.

and even if they did go turbo mode all it proves is that they could do it but choose not to do it at all
