This game just kinda pisses me off.

Purely mechanically, it acts like it's really going to be gameplay heavy with the heat/stamina mechanics but I didn't really see strategic placements of enemies (and in fact more seemingly random enemies are placed as the difficulty gets harder), and there's no real status effects or ailments or anything to really change up enemies so most all of them just run up to you and grab you in melee or in a small area. Okay, whatever, so then it's a button spamming sort of beat em up game? Fucking no because any time you find any sort of rhythm in this game it suddenly doesn't work. If you spam light attacks, you run out of stamina. Spam heavy, run out of heat. Too many attacks, now the enemy is intangible for some reason. EVENTUALLY I got a pattern down that involved constantly mixing in the heat/stamina recharge button, but it's not fun, and is perplexing when you're just starting.

Additionally, the stages are fucked. The lab is by far the most enemy dense hardest navigate area and then every area after that is way more horizontal or have way less enemies/more puzzles.

Controversially, I do not think having so many animations around every weak enemy enriches the gameplay side at all. The fat bitch has FIVE scenes and has two of the easiest to avoid attacks in the whole game, and a couple of those scenes are elaborate.

But fine, alright, whatever. It's not megaman and you're just supposed to go around and lose to every enemy for each character, I expected too much, I get it. But then why the fuck isn't there a gallery, why is there no way to skip forward and backwards in these long ass scenes. Even if you don't want to program a gallery surely you can create a room where there's every enemy in the game, except you probably can't because it's probably poorly coded or some shit. I don't know.

You know what's funny? It would not take that long to code in a room with every enemy in the game in say a pitfall style (You fall into a small pit and they are there). If the game wasn't so schizophrenic to mess with the code base i'd take a swing at it. But yeah if you touch the code 9/10 times you are going to get game breaking bugs.

He's eventually going to catch subscribestars attention with this stuff and get banned. Like, he already got insanely close with patreon and if they ever circle back around and realize he's still doing it just ten feet outside of their property and it's still technically accessible in that build the dudes actual livelihood is going to evaporate. Subscribestar does still formally ban abdl and underage themes.

He is 100% going to get got sooner or later and this shit will fold up into a black hole.

At this point I think some top donators push for the diapers content and force the Dev to create only that kind of stuff.. I wonder how many supporters will be lost whit this kind of choice and whit the fact the updates are really slow..

The issue with this very specific kind of content creation process is that it tends to create a feedback loop that inevitably implodes. I'll list below the stages of these scenarios to explain what I mean.
  • A developer creates a porn game.
  • Said developer creates a Patreon (or equivalent) page to fund their game.
  • The developer then allows top tier supporters to directly influence the content of the game.
  • Some absolute nutters with more money than they probably should have pay for extremely specific, usually also highly niche content.
  • The developer realises these people have shitloads of money, and thus begins to cater mainly to these nutters.
  • The nutters themselves realise that they are foolishly being listened to rather than rightfully ignored and are getting the content they want, thus they begin to throw even more money at the game!
And if the process ended there, everything would be like tulips and windmills for the Dutch. (Try not to think too hard about that analogy; I certainly did not.) But then that stupid feedback loop begins... :cautious:

  • With both parties (developers and top supporters) knowing they can leech off of each other this way, the developer starts neglecting all, and I mean freaking all, of the aspects of the game that does not net them that shitload of extra money. After all... Why create content that pleases 90% of your audience, when said 90% may just be contributing only 20% of your income?
  • The developer gradually shifts all focus solely to that niche content, expecting the nutters currently paying for it to always pay for it.
  • Other supporters find the specific focus of the game far too niche and withdraw their support in order to find something that caters to their broader, less specific tastes.
  • Eventually, the nutters get their fill of their extremely specific kind of content, or otherwise decide to withdraw support for whatever reasons they may have.
  • The developer is left with a game catering to an extremely esoteric audience that no longer pays for the content the game has, either due to finally running out of funds, or simply being sated (somehow.)
  • The game sharply drops in funding and thus resources, leaving the developer hopelessly having to abandon that project and start anew, often (if not nearly always) learning absolutely nothing of the mistake in indulging commissioned content, thus repeating the previous cycle ad fucking nauseam.
This is just one out of a great many reasons why Doggie Bones is proveably a complete freaking moron, since he will never learn from his laughably obvious mistakes. It's even more pathetic since this kind of scenario is depressingly common among porn games in particular, so you would think people like him might eventually learn. But nope! They just never do.

Gonna be honest, it's why I stopped donating myself. I was a $20 donor for about 4 months, but when the diaper content got more love than any of the other content I just kinda stopped supporting it.

Don't get me wrong, the game has a lot of content I enjoy. The newest area they made is really good imo as a demo for new content I really like, but... The diaper play doesn't do it for me, and that whole area feels really flushed out and finished already. It doesn't make sense to me from a workflow perspective to neglect three whole areas that barely feel finished in order to focus on a content zone that feels pretty much finished.

It is what it is, and if it's what brings in the big bucks I guess I can't like... Get mad?

I'm just more disappointed that it's become pretty much a " " " Furry diaper game " " " more than anything... With updates that range from 6 - 18 months for about 5 new encounters.

what frustrates me is less the daiper (althought its a massive factor) fixation but more the wasted potental, the games got the potental to be good but its been mired by one (doggie)bone headed decison after the next.

the combat while simple was functional then the combat rework came and made it a slog.

theres a status effect framework but its barely used... the most use it gets is in the daycare. if this got more use and wasnt undercooked something like this would be killer in a action platformer, esp if it modifies your avalible moves.

on top of these doggie goes radio silent so much at one point i thought they were dead.

The thing is, even though you publish content like this, it still slows down.
I'm quite patient with things that deserve it... but this is really boring and it also makes you angry since you don't get what you hoped for, and it lowers your respect for a creator.

I really appreciated the work done a few years ago, but now it seems like a huge waste of time to wait...

But the most ridiculous thing is that there's no content gallery. It's been six years and we still haven't seen the game's main antagonist... who's been mentioned several times (I saw a very promising draft on the Discord... unfortunately, it was forgotten).

I don't want to be mean or rude, but they seem to have lost interest in this project, and those few loyal fans who continue to donate are being fooled with the promise that something will come.

Gonna be honest, it's why I stopped donating myself. I was a $20 donor for about 4 months, but when the diaper content got more love than any of the other content I just kinda stopped supporting it.

Yes, but I don't even remember where you go to vote or if there's still a voting system. The last time I voted was for Mordicai and Lady Akori... only Mordica and Mango won, which were excellent in my opinion.

we did get a boss that is essentially a demon kobold that footjobs the heroes out of it. But yeah; I agree that paying for direct influence though does suck, public opinion and feedback usually gets put on a back burner for those who have deeper wallets than the ones on a regular payroll for the paywall. And we have no idea what's behind the scenes in the extremely VIP sections outside of leaks.

Its basically a hierarchy system:
Feedback from free users (back burner)
Feedback from users on the paywall (low priority)
Higher tier patrons (medium priority)
Max Tier Patrons (High priority)
Max Tier Patreons who also donate high amounts of money directly to the developer, or are close friends (Maximum Priority, VIP treatment, probably even exclusive channels that are harder to get leaks in, their IDS are also probably logged to a special list if they need to delete and rewrite the text channels)

I wanted to donate too, but as soon as I saw that it takes at least 6-8 months to release an update, I decided to keep it.
I understood the long time frames of updates. Being a small time porn dev with probably a full-time job on the side tends to make games like this update once per planetary alignment (a joke), but my issue is that I didn't feel that the larger community wasn't being heard when we requested content.

There was a vote before that I remember asking about what new boss we wanted on their patreon discord and I believe it was a pretty close vote, but we had I think it was 54% to a goth maid looking boss? I don't remember the details, but the runner up was a very familiar balloon clown fox futa. I found it really weird that they went with *NOT* what the community voted for, but instead what they wanted to do after asking us what we even wanted.

There's a lot of problems with the development of this game as a whole imo, but at this point I feel it's down to this mentality in general:

- Devs will make whatever they want to make. It's their project not ours.
- Devs need to eat, updates are a luxury we are given and not a privilege.
- Devs will hear what they want to hear from the community. Money usually speaks louder than anyone else.

It sucks, but frankly that's why I just sit back, shut up, check in once a year and occasionally throw my opinions in here and there.

I just wish they'd finish the fucking rodeo area, and not update more of the daycare zone. I'm so tired of hearing they're updating the daycare zone with MORE stuff. Really, it has enough. Hell, the arcade zone or whatever it's called isn't even working right!-

*breath in, breath out*

Anyway, I've rambled fairly off track.
TL:DR, I feel where you're coming from, and I absolutely agree.

it's honestly baffling the nondiaper content and diaper content on this site is pretty one sided heaven forbid the people who like that content actually get a half decent game for once
it's not like there's literally 100s of thousands of other games for y'all to go play  but instead y'all choose to complain about it
i'm sorry if you "feel" like you've lost money on this dev take it as a lesson and move on let the people who enjoy it enjoy it rather than chastising the dev for not making what you want
imo its nice to see a decent game with this content most games with this content usually suck and again its all avoidable if you don't like it...

From what I see, regarding how disgusting the game contain gonna have; Once the new update is up, we all download & play it anyway. Sorry for being forward, but that's the fact and truth we have to accept. (Unless you've found a game that's similar from this OC & gameplay)

I love it when people forget people have free will and have the right to put their money where they want. Personally, while some of the fetishes are not what im into, theres still enough for me to enjoy without any real complaints. sure there could be more content, sure it could be done faster, but im just happy its here at all.

The issue is not that the ABDL content is there at all, but that the developer devotes such an extremely inordinate amount of time to it and it alone, time which could have been spent on content that doesn't only appeal to maybe 5% at most of the total playerbase. And that is what all the proponents of that content completely fail to even begin to understand: That the rest of us are not hating on their extremely niche fetish, but that we're simply not getting any of our preferred fetish material, just because they are instead getting their proverbial diapers overstuffed.
