Last night I left my computer running my AI workflow on my new images because it takes hours to do them all... I woke up and it had crashed before finishing one image... Anyway, I'm redoing it now. No worries, I didn't have time to release today even if they had finished. The images are working now. Not sure what happened last night.
All I have to do today is a little photoshop on these images, put them in the game, and I'm done. So tomorrow's release is coming. Unless I die or my computer explodes or something, The Harvesting Corruption Remaster will be live tomorrow afternoon/night. Depends on how long it takes them to update my game. A couple things, please pay attention...
User Guide for some unspoken things in game...
a) To change your phones wallpaper, go to the wallpaper app in your phone, and cycle the images till you find one you like, then press the back button on the phone. That will "set" your wallpaper.
b) The Tape Player and Radio have separate POWER buttons. Press Power on the Radio to turn the radio on. This will also stop the tape player if that's playing. And vice versa. The Radio/Tape Player only plays music while you're in your cabin.
c) You can repeat all the events like knocking on doors, peeping in windows... But if you keep knocking on someones door, you'll probably piss them off if they're trying to sleep, and you will lose affinity with them. But the dialogue is funny so maybe make a save and try it anyway.Window peeping is locked behind a Sneak Skill... There is dialogue if you try... About 20 random lines of dialogue. But you cannot raise the Sneak Skill yet, so you will not be able to peep in windows yet.
d) The Cocktail Waitress, House Cleaning, Corn Picking, and Masseuse Jobs will come in the next update. House Cleaning (Annika) and Corn Picking (Carter) are required jobs you do daily, and you do not get paid for them... You have to do them to get rides into town to get to your night jobs, Cocktail Waitress (Annika), and Masseuse (Carter)... Those jobs you get paid for. Money will allow you to buy things from the store (Coming in a Future Update), where you can buy things like Condoms, Energy Drinks, Plan B, Hidden Camera's, all sorts of goodies.
e) You will need a higher Sneak Skill and a Lockpick to get into the Brooks Bedroom at night. Also coming in the next update.
f) There are puzzles, like find the object, use the object here, unlock this thing, like a point and click adventure game. Most characters and events will have something like this. But that's coming in a future update as well.
I have an amazing BASE GAME built now. I can expand on it easily in the future since I spent the past 3 months rewriting all the code to be modular. Please understand this is just the base game, but you should be able to see the potential now.Enjoy!
