If you really wanna know what happens watch the vid its short and on point.
Youtuber with a hot anime girl in the thumbnail, the genuine peak source of verified and peer-reviewed knowledge to share around...

To be fair, I have not seen the video. I do not intend to. They could be making some valid points. People continue to rely on and trust people on the internet simply because they confidently convey information to you in an easily digestible format.

If you want actual sources for what happens to your body, whether it's masturbation or something else, look at ResearchGate, NCBI, PubMed, and so on. If you insist on using YouTube, only trust verified health professionals, or people with actual credentials, to discuss the subject.

It definitely affected me.

1) I can live without depending on a women to get off.
Because it is one thing if you get off to your fantasies or a simple erotic, but it is a completely different level when you use gooning videos, fetish videos (even loli yandere rapists, the internet has it too), hypnosis, AI, a lot of games where you can literally stuck (Greetings from the Black Souls), etc. The variety is amazing and doesn’t let you get bored!
2) It definitely affected my preferences.
I want a woman I can't get. Intelligent, calm, a bit cold and quite collected, who is secretly a sexually deprived pervert.
Also... who wouldn't fuck monster girls? But this curiosity can't be physically fulfilled.

3) Yeah, as you can see I became quite dreamy, perhaps even escapist.
Because the real world sucks very hard and very long and thick big black cockundrum (cock + conundrum).
Dealing with every day problems you can't predict and fearing for your life is not cool. Neither it's cool when you can't go back in time. If you lose something, it is forever in most cases.

On the internet a lot of misinformation is present.
If i want to know something i usually look at Psychology Today or WebMD not some internet influencer that doesn't know shit but is so charming or convincing.

Kind of agree with your statement though the majority will probably "trust" their source no matter what.
