Has anyone else had any issues with games downloaded taking some kind of phantom input and always looking left, or hitting a or something?

I'm running windows on a steamdeck and standard games work just fine but alot of the games I download from here have an issue that usually consists of always hitting up, or moving left etc and it makes games unplayable. not sure where else to ask. Any ideas are greatly appreciated

I read something like that, a similar bug was triggered by a controller/device connected to the pc.
I don't know if it helps, sorry.

If the games are made with Ren'Py, it's usually the reason, yes.
The engine do not discriminate between input sources, processing whatever input it get. A controller left plugged in is easy to forget. Then it will fall, or something will fall on it, pressing on a button or stick, causing this kind of issue.
