The writing in this game is on another level. I just had to pause my playthrough to say that. 
Especially the scene where Dex tears Kate down for being an overbearing mother. The way he surgically pulls at every little thread of her motherhood. I'm flabberghasted. Actually good writing is hard to find in these kinds of games. But the Hangover Cat got it in spades.
