I've read some really evil stories, so when I'm thinking of extreme punishments, I can image some bad endings that would probably get the comic banished to the dark web.
As far as punishment goes, us fans probably do have some different opinions on what is appropriate. For me, if I was on a jury and the original Diane (now Dean), Dr. Pavel, and Olivia were all on trial, I would struggle the most with deciding on a punishment for the original Diane. I think Olivia deserves a very light punishment and probably most (maybe not all) fans agree. She didn't instigate the crime, but she did help cover it up. However, she has been under duress. Dr. Pavel is the one who is the most responsible for what has happened, so he deserves the harshest punishment. The original Diane didn't target Jason and she was a victim of Dr. Pavel (to a lesser degree than Jason). However, the original Diane has covered up the crime, has kept possession of stolen property (Jason's body), has coerced Olivia, and has not shown any remorse. So, I'd vote that the original Diane deserves more than a slap on the wrist, but less than the death penalty. Not too light, not too dark, something that is just perfectly appropriate. Am I'm putting too much pressure on NewBeeTSF to come up with a perfect ending?
