Google wasn't used at all, but I certainly wasn't expecting it to be treated like it was done. I posted to the translation thread hoping for some feedback while I continued to clean it up. The way the game works (reading all the stats back out of the previously printed on-screen text and parsing the values out) meant it was a huge pain in the ass to translate at all. All the translations have to be reversed when the internal game logic tries to access it or it eats the save file. So that took up most of my time/effort. Some of the dialog is still crap, but not google level crap. The UI text should be correct (although not all properly sized). The intro/endgame have huge blocks of text directly as images that I hadn't gotten to yet.So when it say "edited MTL" how edited are we talking? Or is it another shit google-fu ruining an otherwise great corruption game?
Thanks for the translation! I don't know if the base game has this issue, but people (myself included) are noticing random lag spikes whenever it updates the log on the side. It gets worse the longer the scene goes on. Is the translation patch processing the whole log each time it updates? I saw that occasionally as well, but I thought I had resolved it (it's possible I fixed after the test version that I posted which ended up here). Nothing should ever be sent to the auto-translator as every string in the game should be pre-translated and loaded once on startup, but a lot of the lines are composited, so regexes are used to rebuild them, and I can possibly optimize that more (also depends on the version of XUnity-AutoTranslator used). Also some of them may no longer be needed with the changes I made to the translation plugin, in which case removing them would speed stuff up. That's helpful info, thank you. I don't think it's misconfigured, so much as I need to optimize some of the translations (unless te package here is using an older build of XUnity.AutoTranslator, which can cause some issues, guess I'll download and check). Just a heads up that disabling DokiharaTranslationHelper.dll without also disabling XUnity.AutoTranslator will break most of the games internal logic, put your game is some very strange states, and eat your save file. Weirdly the game usually keeps on working but progression goes crazy (touch something once and it instantly goes to 90%, next time you start the stats are either reset or random).hangs seems related to the translation. Disabling the DokiharaTranslationHelper.dll doesn't change anything, disabling the XUnity.AutoTranslator solve the hangs. Maybe it's misconfigured
From what I can tell the rule 7 check mostly hinges on what the review team thinks will put the site at risk. This means that more leeway will be given to bustier lolis and less realistic art styles. At least, that's the impression I've gotten.For the record I personally have no issue with the game, but why the inconsistancy?
