Oh damn, it's been years since I've seen a new DR game on the site! The renders look good so far—will give my more detailed thoughts when I finish the demo.
EDIT: Damn, OP wasn't lying, that was short—if Miu saw a game this shrimpy, she'd piss herself laughing at it, lol. But obviously it's a proof of concept more than anything else, can't really fault it for that. The real main problem I see is a lack of vision—like, I can't really envision this as a full game. Would it be purely a kinetic novel made up of similar vignettes to ones in the demo, or more of a sandbox dating sim?
Danganman obviously has a pretty good grasp on the general personality traits of the DR girls, but neither the dialogue nor the narration really scream "Danganronpa" tonally—they're a little too generic. Chiaki doesn't sound like Chiaki, she sounds like a more generic pastiche of the character, and the same kinda applies to all the other girls. Sorry if that doesn't make sense, it's hard to describe.
The renders do look good, like I said, and I'm not going to be mean about using the default Koikatsu school backdrops, they're perfectly serviceable. I do question the choice to give every girl seemingly the same exact breast size; I can't exactly fault a man for liking big tits, but it feels weird to see Kyoko, who's usually portrayed as being on the medium-to-small side, with the same boobs as canonically big-chested characters like Kaede and Chiaki.
I know this game is still super early in development, so I don't mean for this feedback to be discouraging—far from it. I really want to see another DR H-game succeed, so I want to present my thoughts as completely as possible.
