It’s hard to balance difficulty, but it seems that most players find the difficulty manageable. I don’t think seasoned VN players would need to consult a guide, but casual players may need a little trial and error. Which is most of the fun anyway, in a NTR game.
I will probably introduce a chapter selection next patch, with preset corruption levels for Akari.
As for the name change, this isn’t really possible because the character’s name is voiced in-game. It would be too confusing to hear one thing and see another, so I don’t do it.
If you’re talking about standalone event art, I’ve actually been adding these gradually! Some have been retroactively added to chapters to liven them up. It does take time to make though, because each "event" scene is actually L2D-ready and composed of hundreds of layers. I just can’t afford a L2D animator yet.
Personally, I don’t find harems too vanilla. They cheapen the consequences of one’s choices. If people aren’t OK with a girl sleeping with multiple guys, then why is it fine if a guy does it? I can make a poly route with the evil bastard having both girls, though. ❤
Well, I’ll poll players on a "harem" route down the road. It’s not like the other girl gets immediately beset by a bunch of ugly bastards the moment you don’t choose her. You still interact with the other girl and they’re still featured in the plot, just not romantically.
Both Akari and Shiori do not disappear the moment you pick one of them. Never liked games that do that.
