I just want to say hello and introduce myself to the community of exotic art enjoyers.
Well, I have been off from VNs for a while, but recently, I got my craving to get back into reading VNs again.
(Reading VNs on Steam Deck is something else, very comforting and reminds me of the time when I used to read them on my PSP/Vita)
I started off playing Canon, Da Capo, and Clannad. Got really into playing Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka and Imouto Paradise.
It is embedded into my core memory when I played Euphoria and Higurashi for the first time. Such a different type of VNs compared to some harem VNs that I was used to.
I remember playing these games on my Windows XP using EZ-Trans. It is not as fancy as the new MTL technology, but it worked during the XP era.
I am glad to see that the Eroge gained big enough Western audience that we get fully translated/locale free VNs released.
(I was surprised when I saw the Taimanin Asagi Series on Steam.)
It is so convenient not having to launch Daemon Tool to unpack ISO file and making sure the directory is clean for the install and setting PC time to JP ETC...
I am trying to play some new Eroges that have come out. Feel free to recommend some down below
I am getting acquainted with playing Western 3D games. Not quite what I'm used to.
(I played 2D VNs mostly. The only 3D games I played back then were from ILLUSION and Umemaro 3D.)
I love most of the community chatters and reviews, but some of them are a bit ungrateful.
(I don't think some of them realize how good they have it. Giving a bad review because it is not uncensored is crazy, IMO.)
It's funny reading about the big divide between Pro NTR communities and Anti NTR communities.
Reminds me of the time when people were debating about Lolis in VNs.
