Identify Help! Anyone know what game I'm thinking of?

I won't lie, my memory is a little foggy on the specifics, but this is what I THINK I remember:

MC (male) is a cop or something like that and he was having an affair with his female partner. Something happened; he might've been injured? idr, but his female partner is definitely in a coma or dead. He goes home and can basically try to do right by his wife if you want. He also has a daughter who he could get... close... with, if you know what I mean lol (or at least it looked like it was heading that way).

Is this ringing bells for anybody?!!?!
