Others Help, images on site not appearing.

Been on the site for over a year now and first time this has happened, can see title cards on recent game uploads page, but if I click on any game entries, I can't see any images on the pages unless it's a .Gif. Anyone else having this problem or know a fix for this? I've tried deleting caches and everything and I still don't know what to do, any help would be appreciated! Example images attached.

Are you using a VPN by chance?

You could try a DNS flush to see if that helps:




Try to access the site with another browser to see if you are still seeing the images not loading properly.

Do you have any faulty browser extensions installed?

Some browser extensions might also be causing this issue (e.g., privacy extensions) so try to temporarily disable them and see if that might help fix the problem.

I have Adblock and Ublock Origin enabled, but after turning each of them off separately and together, it doesn't seem to change it. Also, as far as I'm aware we have no VPNs active right now, so we're good on that front. As for extensions, none of them should be having any effect, as I only have a few active and none else, just the ones mentioned above and a couple extensions for twitter.

a) recently f95zone switched to serve all pictures as avif-compressed, not sure if this could be the issue here.
As long as you use a modern browser it should not be an issue (as in : not pale moon, not IE, not sth. weird based in ooold firefox)

b) some countries/ ISPs block not the f95zone domain itself, but the attachment/picture servers. Then using a proxy/VPN might help

Like OP said that it's recent and that he can see GIF, there's 99% chance that it's the reason.

, plus at least the last version of WaterFox, are good. For the others, it need to look at their changelog.

Like OP said that it's recent and that he can see GIF, there's 99% chance that it's the reason.

This was it, my Chrome is out of date, but I swapped to firefox and it started working. It's quite annoying since I mainly use Chrome, but I guess I WAS looking for a reason to keep firefox around.
