Bypassing ISP/Government blocking

Some countries and ISPs (and even companies/schools/etc) impose blocks on adult sites. For instance, F95zone is currently blocked in Turkey, Indonesia, and a few other countries. The normal way to bypass these blocks is to use a proxy/VPN/Tor.

However, a much easier and more seamless method is to use encrypted DNS lookups. Normal DNS lookups aren't encrypted, and most blocking systems sniff DNS traffic, blocking sites this way. Thankfully, encrypted DNS is becoming more and more common, and most major browsers now support it out of the box, although you need to manually enable it. Even if your government/ISP isn't blocking sites, it's a good idea to turn this on for privacy reasons.

Here's some tutorials:
Chrome/Vivaldi/Opera: (You first need to set 1.1.1.1 as your DNS resolver on your router or in )
Firefox:

Once setup, verify it's functioning properly by going to , you should see "Yes" next to "DoH".

Respond here if you have any questions or problems.

Thanks
Couldn't make it work
Well I'll be using vpn
Couldn't get it working on mobile or on desktop too?

If you couldn't get it working on desktop, try installing and using the updated Firefox guide in the OP, including the ESNI change. If setup properly, you should get 4 green ticks on this page -

Unfortunately, somehow i couldn't make it work on firefox. (After following steps tried f95 and pornhub) Still logging in with build-in vpn of opera. Which makes everything very slow. Tried going with 1.1.1.1 anyway but default google dns (8.8.8.8) seems faster.

Once upon a time i was using something effective for reaching blocked sites. It was not some vpn or a method similar to the ones written in here. It was not changing user's location while using a browser, it was making user 'invisible'. I archieved that thing in a seperate disc but can't find it now. I'll dig deeper and share it if i can find it.

Sam: Thanks for opening this thread :)

when using , did you get green makers for all the four categories?

when changing your dns sever, don't forget to also change the alternate server to 1.0.0.1

After seeing that method didn't work, i didn't bothered with checking stuff on cloudflare or some other place.

Of course i changed alt server Dax. I wrote it on the screen with a marker pen. :p

Btw, i searched for the program i mentioned in my previous message but couldn't find it. I deleted it i guess.

It has happened to me that at one of the places where I sometimes connect with my laptop, when I visit f95zone.to, for about half a minute my internet crashes and I can't visit any websites (even outside of f95zone). Sometimes f95zone works, sometimes it causes this problem. The ISP allegedly uses some artificial intelligence to block the customer's communication with servers involved in attacks on various devices or that store stolen data. It is possible that f95zone is for some reason evaluated as suspicious by the ISP and communication with f95zone sometimes blocks all communication.
When I turned on DoH, this behavior disappeared.
I do not have this problem with the ISP I normally use at home even if I don't have DoH turned on.

edit: work only sometimes. F95zone still not loading sometimes but at least other websites aren't blocked after visiting f95zone.

Just found this out and I must say that those 1.1.1.1 people are deserving of the title 'Champion of Free Speech' truly an incredible work of software. Also thank you for sharing it and bringing it to our attention Sam I can finally acces F95 without the 98% bottlenecked net speeds because of VPNs. And I'll be sharing this where I can, this software should be used more than just porn(for my case) very usefull when you live in more Authoritative places on Earth. Once again very much appreciated.

Was able to make it work on chrome but not on opera. Any Idea why?
Edit: it worked on chrome for a few minutes afterwards didn't work. And when checked on chrome again it was unable to find AS name and number.
On a side note, it working perfectly on mobile using the app.
