That's really weird. That I can't replicate it on either of my computers pisses and puzzles me, as that'll make debugging and fixing harder. * Try the alternative keys (WASD instead of the arrow keys or vice versa)
* Try rebinding keys (Options -> Keybinds)
* Try playing the web version on my itch page, see if it works there
* Try holding the key and doing other actions, like attacking and jumping, or pressing and holding the key right after you start those actions
You said the jump works. Do you always jump the same height? Can you do shorter and longer jumps (tap vs. long press)?
I've set a 60fps cap, though it's been there since the beginning of the project, so it's unlikely to be the culprit, at least for the case of goldnharl further up, that seemed to work for R1, but not R2.
