Ren'Py [HELP] The animations on Renpy games I'm playing are acting weird

Got a new PC recently and I'm noticing the animations on the Renpy games I'm playing are acting weird, for example, instead of a smooth loop, it ends abruptly and snaps back to the start of the animation, feels like a high fps slider.

Anyone has any idea how can I fix this? It feels like it's on my end but I have no idea what's the root cause.

I've been having a similar issue recently, where this exact thing happens if I play for more then 10 minutes. My only solution so far has been to save at that spot and restart the app. It's been very annoying. It feels like a memory leak.

you run on a AMD powered pc or intel? Just to see what the hell might be, idk if even is related.
