Daz Help with Deer fur

I just completed a few test renders of 'Tane The Old Deer'. I have tried all of the different setting that came with the asset and they all look pretty dodgy. Would anyone know of a way to tweak the fur, or any work around to get a more realistic look?

Ya, that fur looks like something you'd find on a teddy bear, lol. Real deer fur is dense and coarse.

I imagine, if you had the time and patience, you could get some really high resolution photos of real fur then try and transfer them to the skin on this thing. There's people on this forum that make their own Genesis skins, just tell them you want to get your Bambi on
