Let's be very real here, when the game starts out going like "Your parents were heavily indebted and now you have to work to repay for that money" chances are you're talking about a lewd game and recettear being the exception

I mean, you aren't wrong. That's definitely a hella lewd game setup. But usually that then turns into "...so I'll whore myself at the bar/brothel/back alley". I want running a shop and whoring yourself out so they'll buy your extremely overpriced walnut bread.

...maybe I'm just thinking about recettear because of the remaster announcement.
