Managing school should be available from the principal's office. And attending the PTA meeting happens in the meeting room next to the office, at specific scheduled times. They can be scheduled with your assistant or the secretary (if you hired them).

Missing buttons are UI elements that tend to be stored in separate files. So you did not unpack game correctly or you are storing it in location which might block access to some files due to directory length limits.

You have to buy the home computer from the electronics store in the mall to manage the school from home. Until then, you can do it in the principal's office.

Kitchen and school management do not require computer.

Apart from missing buttons his screenshot also shows time advanced to 8:00 for some reason and he managed to spend 50 bucks somewhere.

cmazanat Eat at the restaurant, take the newspaper with you and read about rising crime levels. Then go to the park to trigger an event with the thief, and ask him to teach you.

MilenaTarasova With no information other than "it crashes"? No. Give us something: a screenshot, an error message, a specific event/action the game crashes at (if applicable). Any info is more helpful than no info.

I'm trying to unlock the lab; well, I have unlocked it, but the menu for creating drugs isn't there. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

MilenaTarasova None - that quest chain is incomplete for now (as evidenced by the popup at the end) and your decisions there have no effect on the town.
Unfortunately there's quite close to 0% chance that the Mayor Quest Chain will ever be complete. I'm honestly amazed that Shilo hasn't declared the project HHS+ to be dead.

Then again, BK hasn't been updated in over 2 years, yet the dev is still "active".

how do you unlock lockpicking¿
You need Susan Hooter hired. The next day after hiring, you need to trigger an event with her when she talks about her homelife and the landlord hasn't fixed her locks as they're old. Then the following day after 8am go to the park and try to trigger and event with the thief who is stealing from someone. Confront him and then ask him to teach you.

It's advised you use a mouse, (in case you're on a laptop like me), as it makes the mini-game WAY easier.

What's a fast way to get corruption up? I don't get why mine is so low, it's been at something like 46 for in game months, I've made the Concentrated Corruptor like 5-8 times and put it in the filtration plant most of those but corruption barely seems to tick up, seems to be the main thing holding me back with PTA stuff

Gutsandguts IIRC the Corruption stat you see is not for the town, not even for school - it is for students, i.e., teachers not included (let alone the whole PTA). I had everything but the bondage detention policy pass by the time I hit double-digit Corruption, although, that was a playthrough focused on suppressing Corruption in students, whilst corrupting everyone else.

It was my assumption that the filtration plant hits many residents, but it does not hit everyone, so you are still rolling a dice when you need to corrupt specific people. Would need confirmation on that one, though.

1. To target PTA, do their quests. There is no stat boost more effective than that, just takes time (looking at you, April).
2. If you are male, then just talk/flirt/sex, to boot. That playthrough of mine was as female, so getting through to Sandra without her quest was a nightmare.
3. Once friendly, give them the Corruptors directly.
4. If you are not averse to savescumming, reroll the monthly fundraiser result: some give Corruption for PTA (+2 for everyone is nothing to sneeze at), whilst others boost Corruption on students instead - the more you have, the better (full classes = you just hit 400 people at once).
