The discord is still active, and the developers are still talking often with each other. So if you want to bother them about it, you could.
This game has been around for a couple of decades at this point. The development pace is very slow and if i understand correctly, all the devs are volunteers who don't make any money off the game so it's a side project labor-of-love kind of thnig. Unsarcastically I recommend checking in only once per year or so.
Follow the quest lines for members with an exclamation mark in their name. I think there's a guide in the initial post if you get stuck. One of the menus ingame also has hints on how to progress.
Otherwise you can corrupt them the same as everyone else, by using hypnosis, drugs, or just seducing them.

I have been searching for and not finding a mod to add more family members for the MC like mother or cousin or aunt. Does anyone know of one?
From what I see they are migrating to .Net8 currently, there's an experimental version on Mega which doesn't start even if you install runtimes via the link it provides. And with .Net9 in RC now they will have to start over, again... A poor architectural choice altogether, sadly inevitable for the green devs.

Yes, .NET 6 is better than the .NET framework for varied reasons such as platform support, performance, features, runtime, productivity, and much more.
Not to mention that integrated telemetry flushes end-user privacy down the toilet, duh.

Practice, I think. IIRC successfully hypnotizing people will increase the hypnosis skill level. Not entirely sure though.
The PA system is the easiest way to get a stream of isolated targets to practice on, just pick a random student and then dismiss them when you're done.
At the same time you could also go through your student list and choose either low willpower students (easier to hypnotize) or low corruption students (to efficiently increase corruption in the school).
