Oh I was under the impression U2 was already out, since I frequent the patreon every once in a while. Guess I was wrong and it was just a status update.

It actually worked for me. Aywin was standing there in my version.
Maybe not skip, BUT, maybe a way to make mini-games faster? I like the rock puzzle but maybe have shoving the boulder be continous to a degree? Or enable to do it with the mouse? It just takes so freaking long, thats the only issue with it. I guess if people really have trouble, give them advice. But the walkthrough should be good enough. I think the main issue is the time it takes to do the mini-game, especially the mentioned one.

Will this chapter have around the same number of updates as the first one. Or is it gonna be a bigger game ?
Yeah, I was referring to the main info page on your patreon. It says at the bottom that the ‘first’ game will have unavoidable ntr but future ones won’t. In any case, I’m fine with the non-ntr ending still requiring you to go through everything as long as the ending is sufficiently happy to contrast the ntr ending.

I'm glad that you iked the story : ) It can get quite complicated to put together a story that allows for unrealistic events (corruptions of several characters at once) without being completely overblown. Sure there were and will probably be elements that might seem slightly far fetched compared to real events, but hey, we need to get the H scenes going as well. I have the major events of the story already in my head, and I hope the story will onyl get more interesting from here on
I know why you said "Update 2". I actually made a mistake on my Patreon page and wrote Update 2 instead of Update 1 on my Patreon down, which is probably why you got confused. It has been fixed a few days ago.
Also, for the pond, did you check the one south-east of the map, under Belanor's house? I'm saying that because you might have mistaken it the one in the center of the map, right under the windmill, so I wanted to make sure.
Last but not least, I'm almost at the end of my studies. End of September I've got my Master thesis defense. Hopefully I'm completely done after that.

John.Terminus Making the carbuncle mini-game faster would, however, require a bit more time to make it, so I probably won't do it for now. But I'll keep the suggestion in mind for future mini-games!
Probably bigger. More characters, and a somewhat slower corruption progress (I really wanted to take my time with that) mean that it will probably need a higher number of updates to complete the game. I also want to span the endings' development over two updates, to make them more complete, diverse, and satisfying.
That's my bad, I forgot to modify that part of the Patreon description. I, however, definitely want to create a game with both routes at some point.
You should play HC1 and see if you like the happy ending there : )
Yes, that's the idea : ) make a series of game set in the world of Henteria, called Henteria Chronicles, and ending it with a bigger game. Then, maybe, do another xxx Chronicles set in another world with a new lore? I don't know yet^^

I think it is only normal that I stay near the people supporting the game, and everyone playing it. People are nice enough to play the game, give me their feedback, and sometimes pledge their hard earned money to support it (heck, they also make memes out of it!^^).
Thanks to those people, I can continue to do what I love, and I could create HC2. Someone went as far as donating to have portraits made for Solana, Thania and Neve (Thania and Neve to be added later). So I give those people all the respect I can, because they more than deserve it, and I thrive to produce the best content I can. A community needs to be nurtured, it should never be taken for granted.

I'm speechless from your new game. You can immediately notice the improvements made by switching to the RPG Maker VM. The power and love that you put into your "Baby" are awesome. You can immediately notice that you are giving yourself more time for the character development. The main- and supporting characters are finally getting there time so that one can understand their character development and actions in the game (2-3 hours playtime from your childhood to a adult). This allows for me a better understanding of the pain, grief and joy of all the villagers. I hope you can maintain this development in your future updates.
Whether you want it or not but many people see you as a worthy successor to "HANATAKA" and his game "NTRPG". You can't be blamed for it, but many people have waited (have spent) many years to find a worthy succesor for there game.
So be proud of your work & your world (and stories) you have created

1. When is the next public free update ??
2. I see your childhood friend Solana is a very important supporting character (similar to celestine from HC 1). If my statement is correct than shouldn't you add her as a background figure in the main menu or I'm wrong
3. For all of us, could you explain the differences between the patreon update (20 $ Dollar) and the public futre updates. You made some changes in your new game.
In other words for the public user we miss some quest but get to see all the H-scene or I'm wrong.

I did. Or rather, I skipped to the end just to get a feel of the content. I can't say I liked the 'true' ending and even the non-ntr ending is like "everything is going to go real bad someday" sort. I think for this one you should make the non-ntr ending actually happy in that you have to work for it but the ending is conclusive. Haven't seen many games featuring ntr where you get to, for lack of a better word, 'reclaim' the girl/s. Most that feature it just make you avoid completely or go full into it with no happy end and non in-between. Having something like winning them back (at least the primary love interest) and the ending doesn't go all "oh but this isn't the true end" would be nice even. But like I said, I get that ntr is the point of the game.

Man, it's not every day I play a 5-hour-long introduction to a game. Absolutely loved it, though! I really got to know all the characters, and I can't wait to see what's in store for them! I wasn't able to find the last side quest on Soldath morning, though. I thought maybe I had to finish quest 12 first, but then the demo was over.

Let me address your questions :
1) Next public update will be on the 16th of next month.
2) That was the initial intent, but then as I progressedthe story, I decided to give more importance to Thania and Neve's characters, so they all get approximately the same amount of story to them. So I would have to add all 3 of them for good measure, and well, financially speaking I'd like to take my time thinking about whether it would be a sound investment or not^^
3)20$+ updates give access to the extra scenes version, meaning that you get the version will all the extra scenes added until then (1 per update, so far there are 2 of them, one for the public demo, one for Update 1 that is out on my Patreon), as well as the 20$+ version of HC1 (final version, also with all extra-scenes). So technically, free users miss some of the H, but I always make sure those scenes have no impact on the story, so you shouldn't even notice it if you don't know there's an extra-scene.

Yeah, I didn't feel like a completely good ending would fit with the overall feel of the game, it would seem artificial. But I guess speaking about the potential endings to HC2 right now wouldn't make much sense, as I'm not sure what I'll do myself just yet^^Story-wise, I know how it's going to finish, but not all the endings in my head just yet.
Well, I certainly do want to make other shorter games, but I can't say I have anything planned for now, because it all depends on how the main game's develpment is going. If it's going good, then I might have some time on the side to develop a smaller game. Right now, I am far too busy with irl stuff unfortunately. Even with Merry H-Mas, I didn't know I'd make the game until a few days before I started it^^
